NBA 2023-24 Season Thread - Page 198 - Sporting Events and Fantasy Sports

Anyone have interest to do a NBA draft? Maybe 3 year dynasty? (24-25, 25-26, and 26-27) Including this year's rookie class.

Do we even have enough active members these days to field enough teams? I guess 15 could be a good number of teams.

8 rounds I'd say.. basically a playoff rotation. Or 2 more guys than necessary if your coach is Thibs.

I don't think the bolded changes anything

Bit late here but lollll at veto-ing the Giddey trade wow. Like sure OKC won it no arguments here, but it's perfectly fine for CHI. Giddey still has plenty of potential and is probs better than just some random mid-late first, which i assume is all they were getting for Caruso. Hes worth more than that, but dont really think the rest of the league sees it that way, and doesn't really make any difference to Bulls how "good" he is if they're blowing it up?

There's been at least 3 offensive sets where she'll run a PnP/PnR and the other player just...stops, and that's if they're even looking for the pass and doesn't fumble it away. A lot of these players are just playing a different game than the newer players. There's been a step up in skill here, and it's showing.

As if to prove a point, the Fever just took the ball out after a made basket, threw it in, and the player receiving it ran back out of bounds to, presumably, attempt to inbound a 2nd time. Don't recall the last time I saw that type of turnover in organized basketball

i got a fever, and the only prescription is more awful coaching that is destroying society

I know the NBA is trying to make their draft more relevant like the NFL. Why in the hell are they having round 2 start at 4pm est on Thursday?

My assumption is because of the first presidential debate.

Since the NBA always holds their draft on the last Thursday in June, they had no choice but to adjust with round 1 on Wednesday and the round 2 scheduling on Thursday.

We’ll see if they keep the same schedule next year, but I’m guessing not.

with the news ingram is about to get traded, looking back on NO i dont think the AD trade could've turned out worse for them than it did

they had zion, lonzo, ingram, hart all on rookie deals...got a ton more picks from lakers including jaxson hayes who busted..still had jrue holiday on the team...got murphy, herb outside of lottery

won 2 playoff games in 2022 when booker got hurt for a week and nothing else

not even like a massive megabust in there either
