If you check a preseason raw Hebrew remnant knicks coverage vid I said knicks gotta go after cam thomas.. I seen him in summer league rookie season and knew he would eventually develop good.

Bulls are down 22-1 after 7 minutes.

I think Knicks should keep Donte in the starting lineup, NOVA it up and unleash the offense. Grimes really doesn't do much vs bigger wings anyway. Plus Donte isn't a bad defender, and he defends bigger than he is.

Let's see what happens!

I swear every NBA ref I see these days has a fresh haircut. Like, what? Do they get a haircut every single week???

Yes I was just thinking g same today.. it's to much for grimes he could develop easier he was thrown into starting lineup last season I think it'd be better for him

So maybe you lose a little defensively with Grimes to Donte switch but you unlock the offense. I can totally see Knicks scoring 115+ with regularity if they do this.

He is having a better year than Wembanyama so far. The ceiling for Wemby presumably is higher, but Chet's game is very advanced. I don't think Chet will ever win an MVP, but with good health, a ten year run where he makes an All-NBA team most of the time seems very doable. OKC is a fun team to watch.

Yeah, who knows how it would look if their roles were reversed, and Donovan Mitchell would say he's not a real rookie, but he's clearly miles ahead of Wemby right now.

I don't think it is any one thing, but off the cuff, I would say that Chet is a tough cover for traditional shot blocking bigs. You can't lay off him on the perimeter because he shoots uncontested threes very well. But extending up on him isn't ideal either because (i) Chet's pretty good off the bounce; (ii) Chet's a decent enough passer; and (iii) SGA is a relentless and brilliant slasher who thrives alongside someone who can create spacing and pull rim protectors out of the action.

Chet also is not as easy to bully on either end as you would assume based on his physique, but that was widely noted when he was in college.

Oh I agree. Chet has the luxury of being allowed to take mostly good shots for him because he is not being asked very often to create something out of nothing with 4 seconds left on the shot clock. That's SGA's job.

All that stuff I said about the Pacers. That starts on Tuesday. Today is just a scrimmage. Best to ignore it.

OKC on 2nd night of a back to back: shoots 61/61/100, hits 22 3s, wins by 43 on the road, Tre Mann led them in minutes with 23.

They just crush the **** out of bad teams. +79 vs Blazers/Spurs this week.

He's a got a genuine top tier teammate unlike Wembanyama.

No ice under Indy's court, I think it's just the epoxy they use on the new courts. They're entirely new surfaces that are unbroken in.

Spoiler:
