That means Luka has to defend Jaylen or Tatum almost the entire game and Kyrie has to defend Derrick White or Jrue for most of the game. Luka on a bad knee defending Tatum or Jaylen for an entire game is not going to be pretty. And Kyrie giving up size to Derrick White or Jrue won't be much fun either.
The Mavs obviously will hunt Horford and Staps (if he is available) relentlessly on switches, but I can't see that being enough to get the Mavs over the line.
Agree if KP plays and is KP but if he can't really be that then the Mavs chances start to get much, much better. Celts basically have 0 bench, just random white guys.
Think if Mavs win it'll be similar to how they've won the last 3 games they've played, hang around and pull it out late a few games in this series. Probably win series with a negative PD. Their ability to blow a team out seems pretty low given lack of firepower.
I'd still maintain Minn is a tougher matchup for Celts. How shaky both of those teams can be in late game execution would be something to watch in the finals.
