The ordering of those last 4 is pretty close imo, and I wouldn't argue anyone who has them in a different order but same tier.

Who is even the 3rd best Hornet and is he even better than D Jones?
I assume you are talking total ability and not necessarily how they've fared this series? Nene has been playing like poo-poo this series, so I'd put him at the end behind Dahntay. Linas has actually been playing very well which is surprising.

Oh yea I had forgotten about chandler. I edited my post.

Looked like a moving pick on big baby on that allen 3. I HATE BIG BABY.

Man Ray Allen is so good, he's the only Celtic I have a tough time rooting against. Just hits so many big shots

Man it's so tough to compare the two because their strengths/weaknesses are like polar opposites. I can't think of two players who have more different games at the same position, yet play at that high of a level overall.

rondooooooooooooooooooooo
04-26-2009 , 03:14 PM
This is a great game.

Derrick Rose attacks the hoop like he's Rajon Rondo
04-26-2009 , 03:16 PM
OK DRose, here were like 3 guys wide open while you traveled
04-26-2009 , 03:20 PM
Rondo is just crazy sick.

One more Nugget/Hornet DWest tidbit.

So much has been made about him being a great jump-shooter. The stats show that Nene shoots a higher percentage on 2 point jumpers.

2PT jump-shots

Nene .442
DWest .418

Make this clear I'm not saying Nene is a better shooter, it's more a reflection of how the numbers don't always live up to the hype. It's pretty awesome that Nene led the league in TS% whilst taking no 3's and 30% of his shot attempts being 2 point jumpers.

Of course, you are right, so it maybe it shouldn't have been a surprise but when you factor in the fact the game was in Utah and our recent history of success there being less than stellar it is very nice to have a good game and get the win.
04-26-2009 , 03:21 PM
yea that play by Rondo was sick, I thought it was blocked in initially

This is my favorite game of these playoffs. Rose and Rondo just going back and forth. Rondo will get the best of him in the end though.

This might be helped by the fact that Rondo's teammates aren't total dog****.

Turrible charge call there. Not only were his feet in the circle when Rose went up, big baby wasn't even set when Rose left his feet.

Oh and while people are talking about Wade and some of the bad calls he's been the beneficiary of has anyone mentioned the end of game 3 in the NBA finals against the Mavs when he drove baseline and was touched by nobody yet got the call? Wade went to the line and sank two free throws to save the day for the Heat.

And yes I do agree Dallas choked but if Wade didn't get that call Dallas very likely takes a 3-0 lead in that series. I'm not sure even Dallas could have choked that off.

I think everyone would agree Rondo is better than Rose right now but if you could take either pg to start a franchise now, I assume most would take Rose, right?

tuq for sure

I have noticed that u have very little intelligent content to add to this thread, or any thread for that matter.

i thought tuq was gonna throw the banhammer on him
04-26-2009 , 03:30 PM
how is a PG leading the game in rebounds

Chicago is so sloppy at times
04-26-2009 , 03:30 PM
Chicago just makes so many little mistakes. Stupid turnovers and baffling defensive errors.
