I think it's somewhat close between him and a few other players here, but in the end I went with Blake. I think these days he's close to becoming the complete offensive package. He shoulders a very high usage (29% last year), is a great leaper (obviously), has the handles/athleticism to create for himself pretty consistently, has a pretty good post game, an improved jump shot and is an excellent passer. He's not automatic from mid-range/outside yet, but he's definitely getting better, and shot 28% from three last season (44% from the corners) on .6 attempts/game. He's also not a ball stopper and imo has the intelligence and all-round ability to play in precise/structured offenses as well as ones that emphasise the fast break.
Perhaps the most exciting thing for my team is that he performed pretty damn well when CP3 was out last year from a playmaking perspective. I think his skill-set is definitely the type that doesn't necessarily need a great PG feeding him, and he can definitely create good shots for others without turning the ball over (with Chris Paul off the court last year Griffin had a 30% USG, 57% TS, 8.3% TOV, 17.8% AST). Furthermore, given how much he's improved from year-to-year, I expect him to have improved again this season. He's not the perfect offensive player, yet, but he doesn't really have weaknesses anymore and his strengths are really elite.
Stastically speaking he averaged 24/9.5/4 last year with a 23.9 PER, +4.1 RAPM and was 6th in the league in win shares (12.2).
I can't say I have a great understanding of his defense, I didn't watch as much NBA last season as previous years, but afaik he's fine on that end, not great but also not horrible, it's also an area I expect him to improve some this year.
I'm also thinking that depending on who's available with my next pick, I might be able to slide him over to C, which gives me some positional versatility down the road.
