I can buy this argument.

But other member has the best album outside of the band's framework.

As well as a track that is an integral part of a sketch on The State.

This is an improved version of my original write-up.

Spoiler:
Pick whatever number I am

Spoiler:

Brian Wilson

Lead singer/songwriter/driving force/bassist/producer of the Beach Boys, arguably the greatest non-Beatles band ever.

He is credited with writing or co-writing pretty much every single Beach Boys hit, and had a solo career as well. The Beach Boys have seven songs in UNDRAFTED Magazine's 500 Greatest Songs of All-Time, including Good Vibrations at Number Six
Spoiler:
higher than anything by Hendrix, **** yeah

The Beach Boys are the greatest selling American band of all-time! OF ALL-TIME!

The group has had thirty-six U.S. Top 40 hits (the most of any U.S. rock band) and fifty-six Hot 100 hits, including four number-one singles.

Wilson's masterpiece, Pet Sounds is one of the most critically acclaimed albums of all-time, showing that he can mix selling massive massive volume as well as producing great music. Paul McCartney called it the inspiration for Sgt Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band. Wilson wrote most of the album and produced it, like with most of the Beach Boys' material.

Wilson will provide value not only through his own contributions vocally, with the bass, with the keyboard, and a songwriter, and through producing his own songs, but also by working with other artists we sign, and by getting really really high.

None of your weiner musicians would even know what drugs were if it wasn't for Dylan.

Brian Wilson is an awesome pick imo, and should have gone before Kobain, JT, Madonna, Page, and Springsteen, if this was just a pure talent draft. Not saying those were bad picks, just that Wilson is/was ridiculously talented.

can you explain why Madonna and then JT in the 2nd wouldn't have been much better for what you're trying to do?

you said you wanted to build a pop label. you passed on 2 goatish pop artists for a guy you coulda got later.

its got nothing to do with value and everything to do with you being clueless.

She wouldn't fit the final plan. I'm Brett Favre-ing this thing and just having fun out there.

Clueless how? I knew these people were out there, and I know they're better from a pure value standpoint, I just don't care. They're not what I wanted.

I'm just confused at Victor's anger considering right in the writeup I acknowledged that JT wasn't the best pick from a pop standpoint. What else do I need to put in there for him to understand that my goal wasn't purely to just pick whoever the best pop artist was available at that point?
