The second I read that we get our player at 24 I thought to myself that Isiah is going to be sick in this draft. Comparing a 24-year-old Payton to Isiah is murderously in Isiah's favor.

Yeah, GP is sooooo much better than Isiah in this format. The GP that averaged 13ppg and like 5 assists when he was 24.

I loved the Pippen pick. "Point forward" is so sexy to build around.

A run for the last big men (some big time injury risks) is going to leave a lot of of the great wing players/alpha scorers undervalued IMO. I would be tempted to pick one of them right now, despite his low FG%.

I was more impressed with what Dominique did being the #1 his whole career than what Pippen did playing Robin to MJ.

Unless they pick Meat Loaf, then sleeping on it is more than OK.

Yeah, if we actually wind up doing a lot of seasons in this league then Payton will totally own me later on. Personally I don't care about season 5 of the league much less season 10.

Like mmbt0ne, I too was hoping for at least one of the last few picks to continue to get overlooked, but it was not to be. So, I'll take TMac. Since we'll be getting him at age 24, let's take a look at his career up to that point.

Leads the league in scoring at age 23. A PER of over 30, which is the 11th highest total of all time, only behind names such as Chamberlain, Jordan, Robinson, and O'Neal. Pretty heady territory.

I don't care if he's never reached the second round, he's too good to pass up on, and besides, I'm not a believer in all that clutch nonsense anyways. This is an alternate world, maybe he'll ride the positive wave of variance given a second chance and new teammates. I like this pick, I think it's great, and with that, we're off to the doctor's to make sure his back never bothers him again.

Dudd- You mention is PER at 23 and his stats before 24 but what does that all matter? You are getting him at 24.

I think one or two guys currently playing the same position are better picks than T-Mac. F his peak he can't stay on the court.

Isiah at age 24: 21.2 PER, 8.5 DWS, 108 drtg.

ok, so isiah was better at 24. But this is Isiah's peak and GP just goes on to become a king. Your window is limited, sir.

I'm assuming that we'll be replaying the 24 year old season, so it effectively doesn't exist in this world, so our jumping off point so to speak will be his 23 year old season.

One note about my prediction of 2nd or early 3rd was i assumed 30 people in the draft, not 105. on my personal board i had tmac going like 50ish. so... but oh well, when tmac is on fire, he's the man.
