And i'd rather have the guy with top 10 post moves in the NBA (hasn't been drafted yet but N2ers know whats up) over Powe in this league easily.

Infact I pick in like 5 picks so I might pick him, watch out yo

oh damn my bad, i went to bed, i interpreted your last PM to mean the trade is off, since i was kinda "meh" on it, but willing to pull the trigger if you really wanted to deal.

God I can't wait to bump this in 3 years and see how dumb these "Powe/Brewer is a better pick than T Young" posts look.

i'm not saying it's not a reach. I think there are quite a few reaches in the past few picks, tbh. But there's still no doubt in my mind he was going to get picked.

As long as we have the Boston crew on right now, why did he only play 14 minutes a game last year? I didn't really follow the Celtics on a game to game basis until the playoffs, at which point the corpse of PJ Brown took a lot of his minutes, so I'm hoping it was just more of Doc being Doc rather than a conditioning issue. I do think if he can give you 25 minutes a night without too much of a drop off, I'd be happy with the pick.

Doc being Doc.. Powe is a little weak on D at times and Doc just freaks out at the sign of rookie mistakes though he's totally cool with veterans with physical limitations that result in similar mistakes and then give you zero offensive production whereas Powe is the bomb offensively.

I ask this way too often...but kinda thought this kinda thing was the point of this exercise (my I'd take Shaq over MJ comment died a quick death)...so, critique my team:

PG- N. Van Exel
SG- Dale Ellis
SF- Scottie Pippen
PF- Kaman/Daugherty
C- Kaman Daugherty
6- Kendall Gill
7- Zach Randolph
8- Luis Scola

Would I have been better off taking Scola over Randolph at the 7-spot...b/c I thought about it?

or anyone over randolph. Doesn't matter which order you do it in, but you're extremely thin in the backcourt.

Yeah...but I've still 2 rounds...think I'm beyond repair? That's a serious question, btw.

I think your team is ok. Someone said you're thin in the backcourt and I agree. I can't wait until we sim out our games against each other!

my team will beat yours out of sheer whiteness; I have one white guy, two Euros, and two black guys who play in Utah (and their names are "Boozer" and "Brewer". what's whiter than alcoholism and microbreweries?)

Hmm, come to think of it, I really wish I'd gotten Cuttino Mobley so Steve Francis would have someone to hang out with
