I think his defining moment is shooting at his own basket to get a rebound so he could get a triple double.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Ricky Davis era in Boston

I'm not sure if that's completely deplorable, though. Douchey yes, but I recall Camby launching a 3 in a blowout with 7pts, xx rebs, xx blocks (he hit it BTW), and a couple of similar incidents.

IDK, when I saw him play in one of those 100 nationally televised Miami games, I came away thinking he was usually the guy trying the hardest. oh well.

you are delusional if you think the two scenarios are remotely similar.

Yikes. After watching that video I'm going to have to agree with you. Somehow I thought this was done on his goal, during a break. I guess I am delusional.

It doesn't make you delusional if you didn't realize the ridiculousness of Davis' actions.

Seriously?

A young guy goes for a triple double in a 30 pt. blowout and he's scum for life?

I mean he has a bad attitude, but its hard to deny that he could produce - at least for the value here in the draft. As long as he's not around bad influences from teammates, hes decent on the court.

Enough about Ricky Davis. From the guy who brought you The Spreadsheet, behold: The Team Comparer!

This is a simple program I wrote that inputs the data for everyone's team and allows you to easily compare teams and players. I figure now that we're getting towards the end, the talk will be less about the draft and more about how teams compare, and this should make it easy to do that. Should be pretty self explanatory, choose your teams at the top, then check which players stats you want to see and check what types of stats you want to see. Only downside is that I wrote it in C# so if you don't have .NET installed (standard with Vista, needs to be downloaded for XP), you won't be able to run it unless you download a massive file from Microsoft. I'll probably add some new features to it over the next few days, right now I'm planning on adding the ability to filter by years so you can easily see which teams peak at each times. Any other features you want added, let me know. Anyways, enjoy!

Dudd, great program, there are some problems though. GKA's team has "patrick ewing" on it

Looks like I'll have to resynch the teams and the players, should take fifteen minutes tomorrow to just edit the text file. Tomorrow though, time for sleep right now.

he tries to miss a shot on his goal (the one he's supposed to be defending), i think that's pretty ****ing bad

I think there's no argument that Ricky Davis was being incredibly douchey at that time, but I'm not ready to vilify him for one poor decision. IIRC wasn't there also an issue with his wanting out of Cleveland with LBJ there?

Either way, he hasn't been successful as a teams 2-3rd banana, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't be when he's the third guy off the bench, imo.

The problem is it takes more than a day for you to pick every time. Yes it's fine that you do that but your consistantly slow.

Not really. The first time I really held the draft up was when I was out of town for the weekend for the 4th of july. Sorry I have I life. When I got back home I posted within a couple of hours. This time I didn't even know it was my pick. Again I got to to work took care of some work things and posted as soon as possible. I got the pm this morning at 4am pst that it was my pick. I had it up by 8:30 pst. I think that's reasonable. I wouldn't say I'm conistently slow. My last two picks you can say that all my other ones were pretty quick. If I know it's my pick and I'm online then I'll pick before I get offline. It probably just seems like I'm slow because of the last two.

Uhh maybe maybe not but I think the slowness of my picks has been greatly exaggerated. I legitimately have slowed things up once and that's because I was out of town for the weekend. I honestly didn't think it would get around to me because a couple weeks before that I was gone for 8 days and there was barely a pick a day. So yeah everyone just chiiiiilllll.
