According to that, Mo Williams is the second best jump shooter from 2 pt range, and unlike Korver who is assisted on 90% of those, Mo is unassisted 80% of the time. He can shoot the 3 and can get into the lane, and is a very good ft shooter. He's instant offense for your team basically, and while he commits a few too many TO but he also gets a fair number of assists. Milwaukee uses him in a situation where he has to play primarily PG, initiate the offense, etc. This is not his best use, and as a 6th man scorer off the bench he's great. I almost took him over Wesley.

Not great defense but its PG so who cares. And he gets steals at least.

Mo Williams and Wayman Tisdale were the two players at the top of my list. Mo is basically a homeless man's (a really poor, crazy homeless man's) Arenas, so he would have made a great backup for me. There are very few (if any) frontcourt scorers as good as Tisdale left in the draft, so he is very good value here.

I like both these picks, not the guys I'm going with but pretty high on my BPA lists

One thing about Mo though is that he's really only been an efficient player for one season. His trend was pretty flat for his last three, and then there it spiked last year. Perhaps that's part of what Meb was eluding to. Three point shooting follows a similar arc of inconsistency, and to call him a great 3 point shooter with a career average of .360 is going a bit far.

also, if i could somehow trade up both my 8th rounders to the next two picks, i definitely would. getting a little antsy here.

this doesn't do his "defense" justice though. he is TERRIBLE at defense. every metric HATES on him.

I dislike Mo a lot, but think he could be alright in a nice scoring role off the bench, especially when Clark has a team that isn't superb offensively. Just wonder who's going to distribute the ball when he's in.

Also, I LOVE the SJax pick. I'm gonna do more of a writeup tomorrowish with all my thoughts on the picks lately.

Also, thought a lot about picking Tisdale, good pick.

My list for 50 (!!!) picks from now has dwindled alot. Mobley and Eddie Johnson were right at the top of my list (best fit for my need @ this point). Person was my #3 guard after Mobley and Johnson. Tisdale is very nice here IMO. Tyrone Hill was my #2 PF after my pick Antonio Davis - they are pretty similar but I opted for Davis due to durability. Alot of the other players did not fit my needs (thus not on my radar), but are solid none the less.

Hes got ewing and nance in the paint. Where is the pg going to go even if mo gives him a free pass to the lane.

Just pick, it's been over a day. Let's give him 40 picks to get back, if not someone else takes his team. Don't know if anyone is available to do it though. His team is much better than his friends team.

Again, though, we're usually more understanding towards people who have actually been participatory. How long has it been since he signed on last? Posted in this thread last? Have we heard from him at all since we kicked BigCat out?

In other words, is this just a holiday weekend thing, or is the evidence more substantial that he may be off the face of the earth entirely, and why waste our time waiting?

I know someone willing to take his team over today if willing and then if the other guy comes back they can share the team or whatever.

He can have a pick up in like 10 minutes if agreed

Isn't "I know a guy" kind of how we got here in the first place? I'd prefer giving it to a regular.

no its not one of those, its a real person who posts only in the stars T money exchange threads. Hes not much active on anything else, but he was at my house tonight and I was showing him the spread sheet of the teams and before he even looked over the whole draft he saw the bynum pick in the 2nd round and said what idiot took him that early.

Anyways hes not here anymore so even if this was agreed upon he wont be available till around 12 tommorow.

Another noteable quotes from him

1. Larry bird team is the by far favorite in this thing

2. How do you take dwane wade over reggie miller ?

3. Malone>barkley -"you gotta give him extra credit for living amongst the whities"

4. how is ./;lk;'l. not drafted yet, but someone took chris gatling
