Who cares, it really won't make that much of a difference. If magically the guy who he picked is pick then it's his fault for being so slow. Honestly there aren't that many guys that are that much different from each other right now to care. If it really did bother him he would have done it already. 1 pick in a week is rediculous.

With skipping though, I envision a scenario where the owner never shows up, or shows up so late that his team will be severely handicapped. I think this would be worse that the owner not getting his top choice, but nonetheless good value.

I think truant owners would actually ***** less about skipped than about someone they didn't want being drafted for them.

And it's not like it'll matter too much. Do you really think opinions are going to change a ton for a team with their 7th and 8th players?

Im just excited for the inevitable Top 10 Snubs of the draft list after this thing is over. And/or ppl that pick someone goofy with their 10th pick.

Re: Modern Era NBA Build a Franchise Draft Discussion

the main reason I don't want to skip VEF is he'll actually remain an owner and I think he could get understandably upset, whereas BigCat's ass just got dropped so wgaf.

not dying, in hibernation. The thread will eventually awake from its long seasonal slumber and will be ready to devour all in its path.

This. Also, I'm not in favor of skipping VEF yet...if it goes another day or two, then perhaps split up the D/X combo and have one of them take over VEF's team. I've been waiting to make my pick forever, which is good because I'm still flip-flopping over two guys.

He's probably just waiting so he can pick Derrick Rose.

ugh...hopefully he'll be here tonight during the draft so we won't have to make a tough decision. Agree that this stalling is getting way annoying.

It might not be a bad idea for every time there is a pick to PM the next 3 or 4 people instead of just the next 1.

I'll glady do what the majority want to do here, but it seems like each option kinda sucks. Should we just wait?

He was on deck for two days, he's been on the clock for two days. That's plenty of time to get a pick ready, skip skip skip.

I vote for anyone that is gone for longer than 36 hours from the time of the previous pick is subject to having their pick auto-drafted. VEF gets Roy Tarpley.

Can I give him Antoine and take his pick? (Tarpley will be his in the 8th)
