edit: I see on his Wiki that the Bulls drafted him fourth overall while they already had Elton Brand (wtf? lol) so I wonder if that hurt him a bit. His #s his JR year in college were 23 and 8 to go along with 58% from the field. Then he gets to the NBA and shoots 43% for his career as a PF. Weird.
yeah artest probably wasn't the best example because afaik fizer isn't like insane and violent - more like depressive - not sure if hes manic too - but he seemed to have a really hard time just dealing with life - to a degree that meant there was something very wrong with him. he was playing in europe maybe as recently as last year, but i also know he's had a bunch of financial problems.

as for his game - he had sick sick sick post moves and was a very strong guy - something about it all didn't work though.

Just want to say that Bobbo seems as awesome in real life as he is on 2p2.

And if any of you guys are at the series, give me a shoutout if you see me (I think I'm the only young, white Alex there).

wtf? I said he can/should go 30-35 mpg, I said he won't/doesn't because Doc is the coach.

Doc is the coach next year, why the heck would I take this bet.

EDIT: Sega sucks too, way too easy to goaltend on 3's and one side is easier than the other to do it on (forgot which side)
I like the mode where you just control the same player the whole time. With Barkley you can dish it to KJ and let him jack up 3s. Half of them he'll make and the other half you can jump and tip them in. Except your computer teammate acts ******ed when they have the ball and you have to wait for the little midget to get by the 3 pt line.

NBA Jam: TE was better imo. I think the Hornets are best, but there are definitely some competent teams that are dangerous. Houston, Utah, Miami, Golden State, Orlando, New York, and Boston are all pretty good.

I assume ur talkin about original NBA jam when listing teams so....

Wtf Boston???? They are pretty bad imo.

And no Sacremento??????? They are the 2nd best team imo, Mitch is a god and imo the best player in the game.

Also Chicago is good too, Pippen is 2nd best player.

Sonics are also good with Detlef and Kemp.

Spurs with Elliott and Robinson.

I agree with Houston, Utah, Golden State, New York. Never really used Miami/Orlando.

nah, I was talking about NBA Jam: TE. Most of the stuff hasn't changed but some has.

In the original I agree with what you say. In TE Pippen is still really good, but the lack of a good 2nd option means a team with two good players can rip them apart.

Problem with Sacramento (and Chicago) is you don't have anybody to control the paint.

I never really played TE that much nor do I remember even if I played it, was it the one where you could sub players (like where there more than 2 players on the rosters?)

Just wanted to address this and then that's prob enough Benjamin talk. I completely agree that his work ethic sucks and that he should have been sooooo much better, but just didn't want it. I know what I'm getting. But for me and xorbie's team, he's going to be the 5th option on offense when he's in, which will only be like 20 mins a game. Also, despite his lazyness, he is only one of a handful of players to have career numbers of 13/8/2. If I want to be more selective and up that to 15/10/2, he's one of only 8 players. Even though he's a bum, his defensive rebounding and block numbers are on par with the all time great centers - and that is what we need him for, along with the occasional tip dunk on offense.

If you look at his Drtg and DWS numbers, he was almost always the best on his teams. Even at 50% effort, he's still going to grab rebounds and block shots, even if he doesnt really want to.

Since Fizer just came up and I just got back from Israel, I should tell you guys that he played for Tel Aviv's pro bball team this year which finished 2nd in the league (to my hometown team, which was their first year in the league) after winning it all like 10 straight times (which makes it even crazier that my boys won). He's a beast down there, but too small to play in the NBA I think.
