i remember in elementary school sometimes a couple girls would want to play soccer or kickball with us at recess, but they would say, "if we play, we need to be on the same team" does amare have this policy with nash?

I dont know if the "two girls" case would apply to anyone else more than it would for Malone/Stock...if it actually applies.

I would have drafted Amare if he played better D and didn't have a serious knee injury so young in his career. I was definitely debating picking him though.

I've been reading all of this, and I just figured out who 'the SF' is too. It took a while for some reason.

Concur with injury issues, esp since they happened before he was 24, so zero way to even try and rationalize it. Plus, ability to "score on fools at will" isn't a rare commodity in this league.

I was hoping Amare would slip to me in the 2nd. Guess not.

If the whole pointof the draft is just to hope somebody makes a huge blunder because he just forget about somebody, I don't get it.
For instance, I have no problem with somebody discussing Drexler vs McHale just before the picks were made. The point of the game for me is who would you rather pick first to build around? Mc Hale or Drexler? Kidd or the other P.G.?
Not Oh my god I own the draft because everybody forgot that X was availaible.
If we name players beforehand then people are going to take far less risks and they're going to follow the advice of everyone else too much. The point of the draft is to get DIFFERENT OPINIONS and then debate those opinions. If a few players continue to get mentions(LIKE HAS BEEN HAPPENING!) then people will limit their choices to those players because "OMG I don't want to look like an idiot and pick someone that nobody else was even considering here."

You guys are flat out wrong if you don't think that naming players influences other people.

Agreed, I have some good sleepers for the 2nd round on, and I would appreciate if people did not rant/rave about them in this thread.

Don't like the pick.

Injury concerns are way way to high to pick a guy here who doesn't play defense and will get dominated by the big men already off the board.

Exactly.

With Admiral already at C I was willing to sacrifice a bit of defense just to get an explosive guy there.

Best 2 picks so far, imo, are Bobbo taking Shaq and Epi taking McHale.

Ashy Knuckles dropped out, so we need someone to take over his pick Assani.

thanks, but you can't really give me credit for him... Like MJ going 1 or Shaq going 2, no real skill involved there.
