Round 6, Pick 219
Sean Elliot, SF
With the 219th pick of the draft, I'm going to go with Sean Elliot.
Elliot will probably take over the starting SF role on my team and his ability to hit the three and stretch and defense will fit in well with Malone posting up inside and Jackson looking to penetrate and dish to the open man. Also, the addition of Elliot allows me to use Antawn Jamison as my sixth man, a role in which he played very well a few years ago.
Elliot has a little shorter peak than most of the players on my team as he battled kidney problems near the end of his career which forced him into an early retirement.
For his career, Elliot shot .375% from three to go along with a TS% of .553. Also, his year 24 season was one of his best, as he was a member of the Western Conference All Star team averaging 17.2ppg, 4.6rpg, 3.8 apg.
Elliot will fit in well on my team as he allows me the flexibility to bring Jamison off the bench while giving me a nice role player in my starting lineup.
- 2 Time NBA All Star
- Career Averages of 14.2ppg, 4.3rpg, 2.6apg
- 1 kidney transplant
