The more I think about it, the more I dislike the Drexler pick there in this format.

What also makes Kevin McHale's back to back 60+ percent seasons from the floor even more impressive, is that unlike Chandler/Dwight Howard (players in todays game who shoot 60 percent from the floor) Kevin had to constantly work through double/tripple teams in the post to get his shot (not wide open dunks off pick and rolls). .

Seems like you're talking out of both sides of your mouth here. On one hand you say his scoring average is only so low because he had stacked teams. But then you say he was fighting through double teams more than other players which hurt his FG%.

I love the Ewing pick, I like the McHale pick, I don't like the Drexler pick, I think "the SF" is the steal of the draft at this point by far and should've gone a while ago.

Could someone PM me who "the SF" is? I have an idea, but I'm not a basketball freak, and I'm not patient enough to wait for him to get picked.

Hmmm. 40 teams x 9 players/team = 360 players.

Does SJax get drafted? Interesting.

I doubt it. He's only been good since he was 27 or so, you get four 20 ppg years out of him at best, and that's if you're allowed to take im at 27 instead of 24. And I'm a Warriors fan and really love his play.

What's not to like about Clyde?

IS everyone shy about building around a pure scorer?

Personally, I think the issue is that the other guys available make more sense in this format. Plus, i think that having a pure scoring 2 who isn't a good 3pt shooter is really problematic in a league with tons of big men. The ability to shoot 3's is pretty key in this league IMO. Tough to build around also IMO.

It will be interesting to see when the last two MVPs go. Both of them are hurt by this format.

Guts isn't the word I'd use.

Because of defense, right?

I think you can make an argument for either being ok though (not saying I'd buy it, but you could make a cogent argument). AI is almost certain to be undervalued around here given the huge love of efficiency.

One didn't really hit his stride until he was 27, and then didn't really become elite until he turned 30. And yeah, defense.

The other's tiny and not really efficient. Clark might be right and he'll be underrated but building around him would be a mistake I think.
