Round #1/Pick #4 - Earvin "Magic" Johnson Jr.

Magic was by far the second best player ever in this era IMO. At this point I still believe he is the second greatest ever and the best playmaker to ever play the game.

Maybe you should try and trade down a few spots for a later round pick.

If you're going to allow trades of draft picks, it should require that each team trades the same number of picks. In other words, something like high 1st and high 3rd for a low 1st and high 2nd, just as an example. That way, everyone ends up with the same number of players.

Because I said so.

You don't have to trade if you don't want to. I'm not planning on it either, but someone mentioned it above so I responded to it.

Considering his homerism, I'm shocked that hes even thinking about this pick to be honest.

I was considering the plethora of big man options, and Rondo, but yeah, it's Bird. I'll bump the thread in a sec

Yeah, sometimes all the shiny 7 footers trick you into thinking way too hard about a pick.

Wow, I was kinda hoping you wouldn't take him...not because I wanted him but because I now have a really tough choice and I don't know which one I want.
