I wouldn't have picked Laettner simply for the fact that I know lots of ppl don't like him and it will be hard to convince anyone that he will contribute in a meaningful way.

Laettner is pretty good. Was either him or Clifford for me but i wanted a 3 point shooter and a defender. I was suprised how good his stats were though.

Like him or not, Christian was a pretty darn good ball player. Good passer for his size, decent defender at the 4. Offensively this squad could be very good. Defensively there are a three really good defenders, but it looks like their might be problems protecting the paint. Overall it's a very interesting team, though.

laetnner was the best college player of all time.

also the gay thing should not be dismissed as a joke. my sources indicate there may be some truth there. i will say that i met his wife a few times and she is smoking hot, but they are now divorced - make of that what you will!

lastly if he didn't smoke so much pot - like tons even by nba standards - he would've been a lot better.
