Re: Modern Era NBA Build a Franchise Draft Discussion

Last two have been good picks imo. I think there is one guy I'd take over Moore in that role, but that may have moore (get it?) to do with the fact that I had no clue who he was.

Ced seems like a solid pick, well suited for his role. Nobody really sticks out that might be better there...

[edit] Best pick of this round clearly belongs to JOA taking AC Green. Not only was he a fine player and on of the BPA's when you factor intagibles, but he's a perfect fit. I really liked the Hedo pick as well and think he's a perfect player for this type of format, at least post 24. I thought hard about taking him instead of Mike Miller in the early fourth round, and one interesting note that my research yielded was that he was actually a very good defender. Who'da thunk it?

Also, I the Gil, Deke, Detlef, and Rudy team.

neil is a pulmonologist so i asked him about it, he said it was predominantly in people of african descent, and also that diabetics are especially susceptible. and obviously just happens in the southwest.

Re: Modern Era NBA Build a Franchise Draft Discussion

why dont you just email/pm a pick list to someone not in the draft when its getting close to your turn, instead of having to wait 8 hours to wake up or get home from work?

Can someone threaten to skip NoPairParker again just so we can get 10 straight posts from him complaining about being skipped when he wasn't? Thanks.

as long as you dont mind my team getting a million offensive rebounds as what the zone will allow.

I was looking at Gerald Wallace to start as my 3 and bump Jamison to the role of sixth man. Nice value IMO.

Ya, imagine Larry Nance instead of Bynum which is who I wanted to take instead.

PG Fave five wade
SG monta ellis
SF Gerrald wallace
PF Tom Chambers

is an insanely exciting 4, but the Bynum reach really hurts your team imo

Who says you actually need to shoot the 3 ?

When its actually really open they will shoot it, otherwise they can take a step or 2 in an shoot it there.

Remember Avery Johnson spurs, did they not win titles while nobody guarded Avery and he never took a 3 ?

Bench will have good shooters.

it's hard to fathom how sick a team with both J RIch and G wallace would be... Unstoppable IMO

Nobody said you had to shoot it, but you claimed you had no weaknesses.

Re: Modern Era NBA Build a Franchise Draft Discussion

wow i'm surprised people think club ced was the right guy here. some other scoring forwards i would way rather have.

really one of the best nicknames ever - just so everyone knows:

"best known for his infamous "water-sking vacation"...after being upset he only played 12 minutes against Seattle, he went on vacation without telling team, missing road game at Seattle....was stripped of his title as captain by team following incident...was dubbed by Jim Rome as "Club Ced" for the incident...the incident ultimately led team trading him to Phoenix"
