Here is my write-up:

Round 5, Pick #173: Leandro Barbosa


Barbosa is a very good shooter, especially from 3-point range where he is 41% for his career. He is also insanely fast and routinely burns opposing guards in transition for easy layups. Furthermore, he is on the upswing of his career at age 25, having only two seasons of really being an integral part of the team. I think he is good value at this spot considering that Monta Ellis was picked almost a round ago. I think he pairs well with Kukoc, and it gives me the option to play either a fast paced game or a half court game with Barkley drawing defenders and passing to Barbosa for open threes. I needed a good three point shooter to keep defenses from clogging the middle, and I got one ine Barbosa.
