Unless you take a 6th man before your final starter, you pretty much have to take a SG, no?

I mean:

Divac
Dale Davis
Bird
??????
Cassell

So yeah I think my guy will be there and I should start the writeup now, no?

Also, fwiw - from ages 24+, Mookie has a .1% lower TS% than Fat, so Fat's at least not the worst. There must be some bizarre disease where if you have an awesome nickname/name like Fat or Mookie, you become a giant bricklayer. Looking into this.

Plus you have to think at what kind of rebounds I'll be getting: Lots of long rebounds= Fastbreak= easy buckets.
You better not miss your threes against my team.

And nickname is obviously one of the main reaons I regard him so highly
this has merit, but LBJ is an outstanding rebounder for a 3 who triggers breaks.

the concept of compiling too many rebounders is simply there aren't "enough" rebounds to go around - diminishing returns. so, getting the best remaining rebounding point guard for your team is essentially wasting his best talent, since that is what made his career. With a LBJ/Grant/Emeka frontline you already were in the running for best rebounding team, with Fat it seals it shut. That said...

1. Outside of Drazen, you have no 3 pt threat
2. Outside of LBJ, you have no slash threat
3. Neither big is that reliable with a midrange shot
4. Fat's biggest asset is moving the ball around and finding the open player; I'm assuming LBJ is going to have the ball in his hands often, this nullifies it somewhat

Overall I think you have an above avg. offense AND defense, which is wonderful, but I'd rate you like a 5.5 or 6 out of 10 in both categories. I guess we'll see how you stack up to other dudes.

I all honesty, you can take however long you want KC, but I gotta do a few things, so can you give me a time frame for when you think you'll pick....I'll be back in a bit and I just don't want to hold it up too much.

I like the Deng pick, I think he dropped too far and was near BPA if not outright BPA.

1. I can find three points shooting in the latter rounds. I can name a 72 wins team that did not start any three points threath.
2. Fat Lever is a slash threat.
3. Horace Grant had an OK midrangeshoot
4. Fat's not really a pss first poing guard as shown in the thread.

Anyway, I agree that it's not the best fit, but I thinks that his overall game makes up for it.

Oh good, Bobbo you're online! Hopefully you can address my questions about Durant. Also, did you see my writeup about Howard, Maggette, and Granger?

once again this is a redic. claim. someone else made this claim about J'ON. Our teams will be better than the initial team the player played on, but not by much. Thus, you should expect similar production - to claim Fat will only take 10 shots a game is wishful thinking.

Well, in Marbury's case, Barkley+Willis+Kukoc is already way better than his post-24 teams, and I still have six picks left, so I can expect superior production.

Allright!
That's bad news since My starting five already average around 80 shots per game, I don't have any shot left for my bench.
The good news is that I already average 100+ points.

This is off topic but Michael Jordan's flu game is being recapped on ESPN Classic right now it's a must watch.

Nah its no biggie. My "schedule" is just playing poker, going to the gym, etc....I'm pretty flexible, I jsut didn't want to sit here and wait if you were going to be like 5 hours. I'll wait and then post my writeup.

I ignored it, I didn't want to develop a headache. not debating it with you, your argument just cherry picked, and again, not interested in debating a cherry picker.

Where do you guys think Oden, Beasley and Rose would go in these drafts?

Would it be as low as Durant went?

Higher?

I'd expect Oden to go the first of the 3 with Rose closely behind and Beasley after that. Maybe 2/3rd for Rose/Oden and 4th for Beasley, maybe I'm overestimating them and they should be lower?
