looks good i guess, i dont understand completely how injuries and alcoholism play into the simulation so i just ignored teams like this with strong but uncertain players. grant hill was still a pretty boy, fwiw. i think penny had more potential to be completely honest.
Basically I get 4 years of Grant Hill (thought it should be more, and it depends on your interpretation of the injury clause), 6 years of Kemp, 6 years of Sabonis, and Durant at 19 years old.

And as for Penny having more potential than Hill? Ehh maybe. Hill lead really crappy teams to 50+ wins multiple times, whereas Penny played with Shaq. I can't definitively say that Penny wouldn't have been able to carry a team, so that's where I differentiate the two. Also, in our format, where people are ignoring the fact that injuries aren't guaranteed, you only get Penny for 1.5 seasons.

Sounds very convincing...

Pretty good pick here I think. Not a steal by any stretch (and I am not sure it was worth trading up for, but since you didn't give up much, I guess it was), but definitely fair value at this point.

Suprised he didn't go with an injury guy. I was thinking about Deng when I picked Iggy, but was told Deng wasn't that great. I think he's pretty good, and young with tremendous upside comparable to Rudy, and other young swings who were taken in the last 40 picks.

wtf. Isn't this the second time he's done it? In the second round I think he traded up and then immediately said that the pick he just traded up for was available for trade. Strange imo. Isn't the purpose of trading up to get the one player you didn't think was going to drop to you?

I could have sworn epipen traded his 5th round pick when he moved up in the 4th round.

Oh please I have been one of, if not the fastest drafters so far, and I made my pick relativley quickly after trading up.

most of you guys are idiots and suck at picking. best teams thus far are clarknasty's and the porter/robinson team.

also, dale ellis was absolutely sick. i think he threw up high 20's in a couple seasons. how does he slip that far?

edit: so many great players who should have already been drafted LAST ROUND. you guys are idiots...
LOL at looking at basic bulk stats and then claiming that we're idiots. Yes Kukoc could've scored 20+ per game, but do you not realize that with high usage 90% of players in the league would score 20+ per game? Kukoc's efficiency numbers were less than spectacular without MJ/Scottie for sure.

Can Bulls fans comment on Deng last year vs. this year? I remember last year he was sick defensively (shut down Pierce more than anyone I can remember), but this year his numbers plummeted. Was it just do to the Bulls sucking? Did he not give full effort?

Edit- last year Deng was as good, if not better, than Tayshaun Prince

That team makes me envision a version of the current Spurs, where Lebron=Parker in that hes their one man fast break, but otherwise they're a half court team that has a superstar, good shooters, and another guy who can most definitely get hot and carry the team from time to time. Obviously I can't name names of undrafted players, so that makes this difficult, but I'll let you know when they are picked.

I don't think Lebron needs Fat to get out on the break and run basically, and I think Fat's shooting %s really hurt the team.

Defensively of course, as I've always said, I like the pick though....but I think defensive PGs are a bit overrated.
You're right in a way, but as I've said before, I can get this type of team by picking later in the draft while losing little value.
With Lever, I've got other options. I can be the Nuggets from the 80's at time, and at time change into a sick half court team.

My starters are not all going to play 40+min.

No I didn't even make a 4th round pick, I traded up into the 3rd round (and traded both my 4th round picks for it).

Before that I traded up into the 2nd and traded my 3rd round pick and got a 4th in return (which is why I had 2 4th round picks and no 3rd, which I used those 4th rounders to trade back into the 3rd).

IDK about trading up for Deng.....he got a steal of a trade but I think he's available in 17 picks.

I like the Deng pick. He was someone I was considering but ultimately didn't like on my squad. Not sure I'd trade up for him, though.

I'll try to have my pick up within 30mins. Got it narrowed down to 3 or so guys.

Wow ur the 2nd person to comment on this, I don't why it would be a level/something I shouldn't have said.

I was just saying that he obviously works hard and should improve because of it...
