I love the Natt hate, tells me a lot.

lol, you guys scratch you heads (wrongly) then pick Perkins, Stack, Mahorn, Kenyon and Juwan bahahhaha JUWAN HOWARD lol. Dude has stolen 137 million from the NBA so far in his career.

This thread is comical at times.

I will def. be trading, I have 3 (and possibly 2 other) offers on the table, so just arranging final details then the trade will be finalized.

I don't think anyone said that Natt was a bad pick. "Who the f**k is Calvin Natt?" has just become a thread joke kinda like the Jesus McHale thing.

Re: Modern Era NBA Build a Franchise Draft Discussion

I tried to put together a best teams list, but there's like 10-15 teams that are so good that it's hard to differentiate.

Best so far IMO:

horizon- LBJ, Horace Grant, Petrovic, Okafor
Seadood- KG, Laimbeer, Hornacek, Miller
Clark- Ewing, Nance, Blaylock, Houston

Those are the best 3 teams so far IMO. Not that much better than the next 10ish though, so it's still very tight.

I, for one, was joking. I remembered him, but only after he was picked. We might have been able to draft forever without me remembering him.

Re: Modern Era NBA Build a Franchise Draft Discussion

I'm trading my pick to Tdarko. (sorry Franchise, last second he swooped in with a better offer)

The trade is:

He gets pick 162, 322
I get pick 192, 209

I knew something was wrong with your team. Too late to edit. I guess I could quote it, but that doesn't guarantee Clark will get the right one. I'll just get him to do it.

IMO of course. and AC has the best chance of being a "team".
I think you can argue these either way. I really think you are underrating moose'd D though. Oneal is a bona-fide stud, and Zeke and Jefferson are both very good imo. and did I mention that O'neal is a stud?

So you think all three of these teams so far will be above average?

Edit- WOW at thinking that AC's defense is better than FM's. And that FM's offense is better than AC's. You're better than that.

huh? o'neal is very good. i must have missed the memo that zeke was more than a little over average, and jefferson was more than pretty good.

The Sam Cassell conversation was the best.

"Off the court do you ever hang out with him he's a crazy guy."
"Nah"
"Why don't you hang out with him?"
"Why don't YOU hang out with him?"

i had rony on my list, but i had a few red flags that made me shy away from him. offhand i forget what they were, lol... in my notes:

i think he had some injury concerns + didn't look very efficient
