That's what happens when u try to make him a #1 option (and he still did decent shooting .483) The year before that he was hurt.

Then the past 2 years before that when he was healthy and in the role he should be, he shot .523 and .497 from the field, and has improved his ft shooting to like roughly .760 over the past 3 years which is very good for a center, I don't see how he is so inefficent...

Yeah I like the pick, just simply refuting everyone saying he's a good scorer. Very nice compliment to Daugherty.

I think my team is shaping up fairly nicely.
Yeah I like the fit with Brad.

Also, the picture is epic.

Not sure about Hot Rod.
def disagree about PJ Brown.

I think Brad Miller can go either way, it depends what u want from ur center.

I don't know much about Hot Rod but I can see how he could be better than Kaman.

I really think the only 2 u can argue are Brad Miller and Hot Rod.

career shooting TS% at .53 for a center, including last year when he was at like 50%. Dude needs to learn to get to the line more IMO.

He is a good scorer....and I saw a TON (probably 60+) of clippers games this year thanks to league pass/DVR and having him on like 3 of my fantasy teams.

Kidcolin tries to distract everyone in time to get the BB posts deleted by mentioning the LOST finale.
A brief LOST derail ensues.
Kidcolin goes along as best he can, offering up some of his own humor.

I guess you had to be there, but I found it very amusing.

[edit] I feel partially responsible since my link of the awesome Mark Jackson highlights prompted TSC to post the Brent Barry highlights unbeknownst of the rules. It sort of works out for me since adding BB to his team would have been pretty sick. Sorry KC.

Also, I like the pick. Brent was acutally brought in as a stopper for most of his career, even though his numbers actually show that he was much more than that.
I've been thinking about Barry since I picked Biedrins. I was actually worried his sick game against the Lakers might lead someone to snatch him.

People sleep on PJ way too much. I'll give Epi a pass since he's probably young and is a BOS homer, so therefore he's only seeing the PJ that is a shell of his former self. Dude was one of the best post/all around defenders in the league, and a good jump-shooter for his position.

I like it. Everyone knows he's going to be a stud.

If he was around much longer (i.e. my next pick) I was just going to take him and throw him on my bench.

for the sake of full disclosure Kaman is one of Epip's pets in our fantasy league. So there's a homer element to his zealous love for him.

I was wondering where Durant would go, upside he turns into an all star level player, downside he continues chucking the ball on bad teams. Not sure how much credit people will give his potential, but if you're treating this more like a theoretical exercise than a competition, I like it.

Durant is an interesting fit for Tbach's team. He's got one of the best "5 year" squads, and now he adds a player who will probably be a stud well before he's 24..

Anywho, KD is the truth as far as a pure shooter is concerned. His numbers are a bit weak, but so are most rookies who've been thrust into a situation where they are #1 on a horrible team. I really think he has a chance to become one of the great shooters in the league, on par with Ray Ray and Reggie.

um ya a list that puts Beindrins over Al Jefferson is worthless.

And Beindrins constantly runs the pick and roll with a great pg and gets spoonfed easy buckets, if Kaman did that with a great pg he would get easy buckets too.

Beindrins can't score in the post, and is an awful ft shooter. Kaman is prob better on d, and Kaman is a better rebounder too.

Biedrins is much more efficient, but defensively I take Kaman by a mile.

Ya I guess PJ is more valueable in this league. OMG alert Assani I changed my mind.

Round 4, Pick 146: Kevin Durant

OMG YOU JUST PICKED A GUY WHO HAS A TS% < 52%!!!!!!

Yes, yes I did. You know what else? He can't rebound. Not a particularly good on the ball defender either. You know what else? He's 19 years old. At 19, T-Mac was getting 20 mpg and shooting at a 50% TS clip. LBJ? 49%. Melo? 51%.

Not many 19 year olds come into the league and dominate. That Durant came in, shot better than all these guys while playing on such an AWFUL team is amazing to me. I was literally shocked when he came to me. I really wanted Jason Terry, but let's cut it, how many guys taken past the first 50 picks have talent like Durant?

Where will he fit into my gameplan? Not sure yet, might bring him in off the bench, might just let him start at 2-guard. I know this, I watch a good deal of basketball. I haven't been this sure about a player since I was about LBJ. And he's pretty good.

Oh yeah and Hollinger likes him too. Had him rated as the highest rookie ever. Can't link you to it because I don't have insider on this computer but just google "hollinger draft durant" and you'll be able to find it easily.

Someone to hand the reigns to eventually. Where he fits in now, well I'll discuss that more later, but Durant was knocking down contested 3's at a 40% clip in college (shorter obv), so that will space things out a little bit.

Also, his second half splits are much better than the first half when he stopped shooting 3 pointers.

Kevin Durant Evolution

C Sabonis, PF Kemp, SF Hill, SG Durant
