lol dude that's not the point, the point is you didn't give us any reasons (at least that we could find you saying) on WHY he is car crash injury prone.

Like what are your reasons? The wikki article just talked about how he was upset with his contract etc. and gave no actual reason on why he was car crash prone....

again, i think 95% of the people here feel Drazen is NOT car crash prone, so i think it's best to avoid any more discussion (or wasted banter) on the subject

I just wanted REASONS WHY Assani thinks he is "car crash prone", that's all.

DUDE! COME ON!! Josh Smith is a great defender!

Never mind that he's never had a d-rating below 100. I mean he's always guarding the best player! Remember the Celtics series when Joe had Pierce and Horford was moved to KG because Josh couldn't do anything? Well Smoove had to match up with James Posey after that. DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD THAT IS!?!

And, I mean, all he does is stay on the floor. Never mind that he plays on a team with 6 viable NBA players, he gets the most out of his 35 minutes a game! Why even play 3 full quarters when you're such a badass?

Don't worry though, despite playing 500 less minutes than Joe, he still managed to lead the team in personal fouls. And turnovers. By 22.

- long road trip in personal vehicle instead of travelling with the team
- no seatbelt
- let the girlfriend drive
-did not travel with the modern Suns medical team to perform CPR in case something bad happen.

He's definitely more crash prone than your average player, but probably not the most. Guys who been caught for DIU and speeding probably have the edge.
Anyway Malone's the less crash prone since he drives a monster truck.

obv i am not saying, because if he hasn't posted it now, perhaps he's changed his mind. i did think he was deadset on that pick tho, so the holdup is odd, esp. as i need to leave for the celtics soon

Round 4 / Pick 125 - Dale Davis

Double D, the ultimate unheralded work horse. A linchpin on a very successful Indiana team, and later on a pretty successful Portland team, Dale helps his teams win by doing the dirty work. Rebounding, defense, put-backs, picks, more rebounding, more defense. Reggie Miller will tell you he was a key reason that IND had as successful of a run as they did.

Right now, my two main offensive weapons are shooters. Vlade is a pretty decent low post scorer, but he's no Shaq or Duncan. This hurts my efficiency a bit. This is the main reason I went with Dale over some other PFs who can spread the floor a little better. I got one of the best offensive rebounders of the modern era. This is an underrated facet of the game, as each one is essentially an extra possession. That's why despite not being a great scorer, Dale has a career Ortg of 114.

Another element I like offensively is that I have 3 plus passers, two of which are capable of nifty passes down in the post. Guys who cheat off of Dale are going to pay with a Dale Davis Dunkathon.

On the defensive end, Dale has always been a solid if unspectacular post defender. His Drtg's help support that claim. He's big enough to body up with some of the elite centers in the league that Vlade can't handle, quick enough for rotations, and offers some intimidation. Back in his IND days he was part of a frontline that had to go up against the likes of Shaq, Ewing, and Zo multiple times a year.

His FT% is a concern, but I couldn't get much better without giving up a lot of what Dale does well.

Is he the BPA? No, not close. But he fits a role my team needed some help with, interior defense, while bringing something unique to the table that I think is underrated, offensive rebounding. Ultimately I like the fit despite having a few "better" players available. And my team is just straight gangsta. I got Larry whispering in your ear, telling you how he's gonna beat you, I got Sam working the bench, the ref, the guy guarding him, the crowd.. Vlade is pissing everyone off with his Euro ways (flopping)... and now I got the badass enforcer who don't talk and just busts people up down low.

Also, an added + is I still got the ugliest team in the league.

Team so far:
C - Vlade Divac
PF - Dale Davis
SF - Larry Bird
SG -
PG - Sam Cassell

Assani (Akbar!) is on the clock.

Wow, Dale Davis? Wasn't he a really average player? There's way better power forward available than him.
