Jamison is like the poster child for misleading stats imo. VVV Good numbers, but as a real life basketball player not as good.

No he has his own 4th rounder + my 2 4th rounders from the KMart trade.

Jamison gives great production for a 3rd rounder but I had no clue which team he would fit best on. tweeners are tough.

He also isn't that efficent either, nor is a good defender (I feel like you need at least one of these 2 for a 3rd rounder). I don't like the pick, I think there are a good amount of better players avaliable.

Meh, his adjusted +/- have always been good, solid roland ratings and so forth... I mean, he semi-carried the Wizards team this year, I do think his stats are somewhat over inflated, but this pick seems like good value. I never believed he was a good rebounder but I guess i'm wrong.

i watched a lot of wizards games due to my bobbo bet and i completely disagree. i think jamison is a great scorer. he has very good post moves and can sweep thru the lane with a hook. hes a good shooter too. he also gets a lot of boards for easy layins.

i think hes a very smart player as far as gameplay actually. he does get too emotional at times which is good and bad.

his defense isn't anything to write home about, but i always felt like jamison was a true 3, and it might create some matchup problems considering he has pretty good size/weight and post skills

oh, FYI also i added a "teams" tab (you can see a link to it on the top left) to the google spreadsheet to track who is on which team so far

this is the toughest decision Ive had to make since I pressed the doomswitch on Matusow while I was on a group tour at the FTP headquarters.

Is Alex around? I'm pseudo available for about 2 hours in case he fires away.

Will consider trading down again depending on the two picks in front of me.

it's not hard to do, the reason i didn't is because of all of the uncertainties due to multi-positional players, and i would be forced to make team decisions for people, even if only temporary.

throw a "+1" for disagreeing about jamison vs AI squared.

AI > Antawn.

AC, given you're 2 picks away, can you PM someone your top 3 list?

Bobbo or KLJ or anyone else who has saw a ton of Martin.

Would you think that if I play a team with good SG/SF's that I could put Martin on the PG? I feel like he should have the speed to somewhat keep up with them especially when you factor in his length (he should be a good 5-7 inches taller than the PG). Plus PG's don't really post up at all.

I know Billups can guard most SG's very well too so I don't think moving him there on D would be an issue.

I'm already second guessing the pick because immediately after I hit send, I thought of someone I think would be a better fit. Still, I think Jamison is a good bit better than most people are giving him credit for. His game is far from pretty, but he still gets it done to the tune of 20 and 8.

Actually I think this is a very excellent pick with Karl Malone, because if you go against a team that is playing a little smaller you can easily play Malone/Jamison at 4/5. Also gives you two very good options at the forward spot... THIS is a team that could also really use a super efficient PG.

Joe Johnson is, indeed, very underrated in this thread
