harrison ford would def be up there. greatest action guy of all time IMO. i think ed norton would be a sorta kobe-esque character.

I can already tell nath is going to take my guy especially with all the suspense (and flyingmoose didn't pm me any of his picks btw) and we will have blown a huge opportunity to get a ton of picks outa the way

Modern era LDO.

Modern era a little earlier I think for this. Maybe 1970?

Well you would have blown a huge opportunity to get a bunch of picks out of the way by making a trade based on one guy being there and not getting moose's backup pick.

What do you mean, can't you just pick someone else? It's your pick not moose's, right?

the bet is void if nath takes my guy (the only guy imo worth me trading up for), I already made this clear a bunch of times (as did he).

Re: Modern Era NBA Build a Franchise Draft Discussion

Is Keanu Reeves the acting draft equivalent of taking Marbury in round 2?

Also, the actor's draft would be intriguing as you could argue about taking box office successes (Ford) vs. great actors (Pacino, Bobby D, etc.)

Re: Modern Era NBA Build a Franchise Draft Discussion

yeah dude it was a joke. also nobody can knock keanu because the matrix is the most badass movie ever. he threw up a 31 AER that season compared to his 10's and 11's the rest of his career (except bill and ted). it's all about putting keanu on the right movie.

Re: Modern Era NBA Build a Franchise Draft Discussion

Keanu is clearly the Brady Anderson of any actor draft IMO. 1996 season = The Matrix, 1992 = Speed, 1999 = Point Break, and 2002 = Johnny Mnemonic.
