getting a low post scorer/finisher would be nice. efficiency is essential with kidd. rebounding not as important for the same reason.

I honestly think these picks (3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th round especially) are where the draft is won/lost.

Unless you completly blew ur first or 2nd round pick (Marbury), you should have 2 legit star players. Now surrounding them with either stars or role players will be very key to the make up on ur team and will define it.

thats what i thought, too. also one cool thing about his team already is kidd is so unique he really DOESNT need one of these "all d all board" big men. he can also get a quicker guy to try to play uptempo bc both of these guys can do that, or he CAN go conventional and play halfcourt. i like the flex spot he's in, it allows him to go after the BPA. who the BPA is right now i have no idea tho lol.

100% agree.

epi, you normally are one of the strongest posters here, it's a shame so much of your posting is devoted towards worthless arguments

meb - i agree w/ you too, but it's hard to monitor that, and if people want to consult, it does make things somewhat more fun. for them, anyway

I got 2 easily who are the bpa, and both imo are better than Joe Johnson and pretty much almost all the 3rd round pics up to this point (totally had forgotten about 1 of them too until like a few hours ago).

After that I think there is a dropoff.

Man, I would sooooooooooooooooooooo love to trade up right now. I wish I had anyway of making that happen. If anybody picking now or within the next 5 picks has an idea of a trade we can work out (can use players already picked) let me know as I'd prob be interested.

also - if kareem is eligible - not that the era expands to include him, just add kareem to the eligible list. where does he go in the draft?

Unfortunately my only pick is like 168, lol, otherwise I'd love to trade w/you. 18 picks is about exactly where I want to be.

Why not add Wilt too? I think Wilt v Shaq would be a ridiculously interesting debate.

Seriously, anything lower than #3 would be the steal of the draft.

u guys are misreading what he said (at least I think), u wouldn't be getting Kareem until 1979 (a ton of his best days are already behind him).

He was obv sick on the Lakers but no way does he go above Shaq, Lebron etc. imo

Yeah, I think he would slide in after LBJ.

There is absolutely no way Magic > Kareem. I'm thinking its pretty unlikely that there is even an argument for Shaq > Kareem, but I'm at least leaving that one open to debate.
