guitar hero>rock band

okay i was playing poker (ZOMG) and couldn't make my rankings, glad to see you all took the challenge. since the line between 4 and 5 is so vague these days, i'm just using players that play in the paint from time to time (sarcastic). here's mine fwiw:

1. duncan
2. KG
3. d12
4. yao
5. amare
6. brand
7. pau
8. bosh

fwiw, this was a lot harder than i though. clearly in my mind the top 3 are the top 3, but it's tough to say who goes where. the next 5 were just as tough. i'll die saying that amare has been wildly overrated his entire career, but he still gets his due. yao is tough to measure just because of injuries and because the team around him is very poorly designed for his skill set. i might underrate bosh (which is funny, because his first couple years in the league i was REALLY high on him). brand vs. pau was a tough decision, just because i think pau is a great passer whereas i'm not as high on brand's passing ability.

Ive never played Guitar Hero, so I can't confirm/deny. I've never played guitar/drums in real life, so Rock Band is plenty challenging for me. Meh, its awesome as a party game, so Im happy with it.

I previously would have agreed that Amare was overrated, however I no longer think that.

The thing that changed my mind is his new jump shot. This is a major upgrade in his game and from everything I have seen of him this year he can easily knock down open shots and even contested ones. He is no longer a one dimensional player.

ehhh I agree to an extent. are there any numbers we can get on his j though? I feel like no teams really guard it. he also sucks really hard on defense.

tbach, i made a list before looking at the one you posted, and ended up with the same thing

i thought there was a big drop-off after 3, and a big drop-off at 8 (before boozer, JON, al jefferson, etc)

If you own the game, why don't you just edit the ratings yourself? Me and my roommates do that all the time, makes it much more realistic.

Hmm, well, if I did it, I would edit every single player, and every single stat, and it would probably be 25 hours worth of work (or maybe 8 or so) and frankly the game is not worth needing to edit that much.

People do that **** on forums, just like how they name all the players in NCAA Football and post them for people to DL. All you need is one of those key chain usb things for a ps3, or you can buy a thing that hooks your 360 hard drive up to your computer so you can put files from online onto the 360. Its like 30 or 40 bucks, I think its call Xport.

I don't think you get it. It's not worth it for me. I don't like video games. I play them with friends from time to time. If JoA really wants it, I'll bring it to Vegas and give it to him.
