Alright, well lapoker declined so I'll just keep my spot. However, if there's enough support for a committee taking over my pick, I'll consider that.

As intriguing as committee would be I think it has the potential for some epic derails though.

If you wanted to, you could create a committee with xorbie and lapoker (and anyone else that showed interest) to help you.

We should start spamming his comments to make his pick, just in case he forgot.

yeah i didn't decline because i don't want to do it - if i wanted to be in i should've paid more attention to this earlier and i don't want someone who deserves a team to lose it. i will be talking to dtemp abt players and offering advice though.

I was considering Tbach's idea of being advised by committee. But then I remembered that you laughed at my obscure Monthy Python reference I made a few weeks ago, so you win. The team is yours (pending league approval obv).

P.S. My team doesn't play defense.

Edit: Thanks for the offer again, LA, but this is just taking up much more of my time than I anticipated.

sigh, he hasn't logged on for 2 full days and it's been almost 30 hrs since the last pick. it sucks when no one is picking.

I don't think a committee situation would derail anything, as long as they let one representative do most of the in thread activity.

That would be fine. Or if you just want a little help you could just have him as a consultant too. Either way is fine by me.

I think that team more than any other should look to trade one of their picks because they do both have value, but as has been mentioned already they don't work well together.

btw I guess I should mention that I'm going to be around far far less once the WSOP starts. Its entirely possible that I'll be playing 30+ hour sessions and then coming home and passing out before getting up and having to rush back by noon to make the next day's event. Of course I'll try to PM picks when possible, but its definitely going to be tough for me when playing so much.

lol KC...

as for the whole time limit thing, I completely back Assani on this one. He started this thing and it's his baby, but at the same time, a lot of us have adopted this child so for you to threaten punishment is ridiculous. that and it would completely and totally and absolutely and any other word like that DESTROY this awesome thread if someone were to ever be punished IMO.

as an aside, I think assani is one of the most interesting posters on 2p2. I remember when he first showed up and posted about onslaughts and posted a ****load of numbers that nobody understood. I'm still curious about what they mean, especially after having read this
