This is only 2/5ths of my lineup, reaching on a PnR big man just to fulfill that need would have been a horrible decision. Mullin will gel with any lineup.

Mullin is also a very good passer and rebounder for a 3, I really see no downside to the pick. Pairing two extremely efficient players together isn't a negative.

Stockton will also be better at penetrating with the guard friendly rules of todays game.

Mullin pick couldve been 20 spots ago imo. Great pick. The late first round and second round has really been butchered by some. Way too much value on the board still.

Just because you have Stockton doesn't mean you need to try to fit him into a system. You think Mullin can't work with one of the greatest passing guards of all time? I mean, the guy worked with Tim Hardaway, why can't he work with Stockton?

Stockton is the 2nd best defensive pg taken so far, so please tell me how he isn't athletic enough to thrive in this.

Mullin will get me 25/5/5/2 at 50/90%'s. So no, I'm not buying it. I'll be able to get all the athletes I want in this draft, finding incredibly efficient guys that fit into multiple systems (and both were BPA at each slots!) is very hard to do.

A slightly inefficient volume shooter, short-ish peak, great defense? I kinda like it. Some good PGs on the board you passed up to pair with Malone though.
