I don't see him getting picked, but wouldn't Elliot Perry (Memphis) have to be near the top of the goggle wearers (think he got contacts in the pros)

Pretty good. You forgot about Worthy, I know the guys you don't want to mention and one is about to go in the draft.

ok, im gonna go with mark price as my point guard

i think price is the best available point guard to match with amare. price was good passer averaging 6.7 assist for his career and around 8 thru his prime. he tossed a lot of alley oops to nance so i think him and amare will thrive in that category.

but prices best asset is his shooting. he is simply one of the best shooters of all time, shooting 47% from the field, 40% from 3 and 90% from the line. price is only the 3rd player ever to average 90,50,40 for a season (along with bird and reggie miller.)

his career per was 19.6

price was 3rd team all nba 3 times, behind stockton and kj. he was first team in 92/93.

there are some negatives as price had a rather short career, only averaged 30min/game and sustained a torn acl (which i consider a freak injury.) his per 36 stats are better tahn his per game stats. his per shows that when he played he was excellent. he wasnt a great defender either.

team so far:

amare stoudemire
mark price

MP is the logical choice to team with Amare. What you've got is a near carbon-copy of Nash's game with a little added defense. Not bad.

Ignore the music, check out the passes!

I dunno about that. Those Cavs teams were always up there defensively... and Brad D. was a pretty mediocre defender.

MP really is a very nice replacement for Nash, you know this is at least going to work out well offensively.

Price is nice. I think he went right where he should have. The PG position gets, ahem, interesting now.

I knew Vic was going to grab Price. I really needed Price to fall to me for my all white team to work. I'll do some research and see what I can come up with.

I don't know what this means. JoA and I were talking and we both agree the PG talent pool is stacked. There is a ton of talent left.

ya i can think of a ton of point guards i want. they don't even have to be great shooters. as long as they are totally emotionless and have really long arms to get in the passing lanes i will be happy with my pg.
