Where in my post did I say I wasn't going to get a PG? Ok, I need to get to work.

In terms of guys w/ridiculous winshare totals or in terms of elite scorers included? nvm

I'm just saying I think it seems you ARE getting a PG, maybe I'm just slow for not thinking that is obvious. Carry on.

You got me stumped too. Let me know who you were thinking of when he gets drafted.

Honestly, both. I'd rather have who I'm referring to than Arenas in almost every single area.

Add in the fact that hes a career 82% FT shooter and those are insane efficiency number for a guard. Why is he not more highly regarded?
he is highly regarded by people who know basketball outside of 1995-present. this seems to highlight the problems with this draft. the chris paul over stockton phenomenon has already taken place many times over. a few guys will probably make some awesome picks, and build sick teams and won't get the credit they deserve because a bunch of you haven't seen a ton of these guys play.

he was only 6 5 and god he was sick in the post.

Great pick, I was hoping but doubting Deron would be available at 63.

I mentioned this like 300 posts earlier, younger guys have definitely been picked over some good players who retired in the early 90s. I don't have a problem with it though. I definitely went young though.

Yep, Deron is solid, definitely one of the contenders for my pick.

I saw this coming. I feel like a lot of people wanted him too. Great pick.

Deron is the best value pick of this round and it's not even close. He is also the guy I was debating taking over Billups.

I'm shocked he slipped this far.

Who you going with?

Also CP3 is sick but he's not 30+ picks better than Deron.

One of the reasons this is happening though is because of the whole Age 24 thing.

The vast majority of players in the 90's went through several years of college and came to the NBA around age 22 or 23. So they weren't peaked at age 24.

But with LBJ, Deron, DWade, etc etc all coming into the NBA @ 18,19,20. They have peaked much earlier.

I definitely was drolling over the idea of Williams falling to me (which I figured was little to no chance).

He's a great pick at any stage of this, but to get him about 40 picks after Chris Paul is just a huge bargain. Great pick.

CP was undoubtedly taken too early. This is a great spot for Deron though.

Deron was without a doubt the BPA here i think. kinda funny he's paired with shawn marion. going to be such a weird team.
