Bosh is basically KG Junior. It's a somewhat lazy analysis, but in general it holds true. I think Bosh will be in MVP discussions in the future (though will probably fall short due to LeBron). He had an incredible season this year.

He does play great D though, prob the best the position has to offer.

FWIW, the Pistons offense isn't based around him driving and creating since a lot of the talent of the team is pretty balanced. This may partly be because he isn't great at it, and he'll never be Nash or Paul in this area, it's worth considering.

I agree with this. I'm not sure if he'll get MVP consideration though because playing in Canada means less national exposure, and the media doesn't appreciate efficiency enough. Imagine if Mitchell was a good coach and never played Bargs any minutes - Bosh was forced to play the 5 alot this year and I think (like KG, good analogy) he thrives in the 4 spot.

I do think Vince was blocking his own teams shots to get out of Toronto, though.

fwiw this thread has been so -ev on my life it's not even funny, I was in such a poker grind mode for the first 7 days of this month, then when this thread poped up I haven't played 1 hour of poker since it started and have been constantly checking this thread for updates. (I have read every post in this gigantic thread). I also obv did a ton of research on players in the 80's/90's as well.

Anyone else having this thread being ridiculously -ev on their life too?

Agreed with what has been said about Bosh's upside and offensive game. And BigCat's roster already will cause some teams problems, because those two guys are going to be tough to matchup against. I think fielding tall guards that can shoot and a Euro style center that can shoot the 3 will be his best option, basically creating crazy matchup problems and trying to outscore the other team.

Yea, me too. I didn't sign up for a team because I thought I wouldn't have time, but I check the thread continuously on my phone at work and also have read everything. Oops.

This guy could cause some pretty ridiculous insane matchup problems.

a little story for all of you:

monday the 5th i had 15 1 pg papers to write, a test to study for, a spanish cultural presentation, and 40 pages of brutal reverse racism economics reading to do. then this came into my life. my spanish group partners hated me because i was so transfixed by this (i still did the work, but late at night). i didn't study for the test. as of last night at 5 AM i hadn't written any of the papers or read the 40 pages of econ work. btw, i popped an adderall to keep me awake last night at midnight and promptly spent the next 5 hours looking on basketball-reference. i spent a grand total of 4 hours doing work. this thread is literally the greatest thing of all time. still haven't slept, probably won't for awhile either meaning i get to keep going to this thread w00t.

oh yah and this is the only thing i talk about with my friends any more. i got sick this morning and my room is a complete mess and i have very few dirty clothes so i called this girl i'm friends with to see if she could help me out. after like 10 seconds of "hey whats up what are you up to blah blah blah" i forgot about the laundry and started telling her about my prospects for who i want to pick next. i'm not sure that she cared, but she listened. oh and my voice is EXTREMELY nasal right now due to my illness. but i remembered the laundry and she's gonna ddo it for me tomorrow shipzilla
