Chauncey's 3 ball is nice, he actually had a season where he finished with a better 3pt% than FG%. His career 2pt% is 43.6%, which is really underwhelming and says that his mid range game is below average. Also, for me, his assist numbers are lower than I would like out of the PG position.

He does play great D though, prob the best the position has to offer.

Bosh would have been a good pick at this spot, except he plays the same position as Worthy. Not to mention that Worthy is FAR better, because he's an all-time GREAT and Bosh has only played a few seasons...

First off BiiigChips is my friend, not me.... Secondly Worthy and Bosh do not play the same position. I had to mention this in a previous post, Worthy is a Small Forward, always was, Bosh is a PF/C, he's played both in his short career, so call it what you will, two completely different styles of play between the 2 at 2 different positions..... the only major hole in it is if it's the same person, why wouldnt he just sign in as Cat. But I like conspiracies so yeah I'm crying foul.

Watch for bizarro trades, yo.

BigCat slowly building the worst defensive team in the draft. We will have to see who gets paired with Nash.

I would like the pick if Worthy wasn't the first selection. The front line is looking soft right now.

Bosh is already the all time leader for Blocks in Raptors history, did it in less than five seasons. I could see how that translates into "soft defense", good call once again.

this is pretty much the most shoddy use of statistics. (it is in this thread, atleast)

i'm the career all time block leader in the somerville buzznits, yeah we've never played a game in the NBA, but im still the all time career block leader. (and PER leader)

edit: but, bosh is still a very good pick. funny that bosh probably should've been your 1st round and worthy your 2nd round, but it worked out anyway.

Beating out the likes of Vince Carter and Antonio Davis, 6'6 and 6'9

LOL. Who is second on that list? Hakeem?

Bosh a super impressive 51st in the league in blocks per game this past season, 14th @ his position. I like Chris Bosh, but in the NBA, his D is at best average and in this league its well below average.

Well I appreciate the "edit", it did work out fine but I was more afraid of Worthy being taken in all honesty... For the record, he does play against other teams in the league to get those blocks.... not against his own team, lol. That's all i'm saying, your comparison is shotty but I understand your point.

Wait, so you're saying he didn't block Vince Carter's shots when they were on the same team? I doubt that.

one other note about Bosh, is he's PROBABLY the most all around skilled PF of the remaining guys offensively (just prior to the pick) to get chosen. I mean, he can run, he can finish around the rim, he can post, he has a midrange game, he's very good at the line, he can pass on the block, he can pass of the high post, he rolls well, etc..

not to mention he's sickly athletic (not quite amare but within range). another player i knew i never would get but wanted oh so badly. (using his blocks in raptor history as a testament to his defense though somewhat invalidates it from the start) and yeah his defense is subpar, but hopefully he can gaurd the weaker big so he's not exploited on your team.

I didn't even name the position the player was, i'm pretty sure we are allowed to do that.
