C, just skipping is an awful idea. I do find it funny that everyone is so on board with this now, but wanted to tear me apart for proposing this at the beginning to prevent situations exactly like this from coming up now. Good job guys.

Getting your pick skipped is nowhere near as a big a deal as it is now. Given that everyone has at least 6 players, and most of the players now are of similar quality, skipping picks to move the draft along makes a lot of sense.

Let's be honest: it's probably not going to matter who we get to round out our bench. As a practical matter, when we're voting, it's probably not going to come down to our 7th-10th picks. Right now finishing is a lot more important than keeping the draft order, especially when people are more likely to stop paying attention in the later rounds.

If it goes an entire round, someone else takes over obviously, or we just pick by committee.

I say if we give him a certain amount of time, say a week, and then someone takes over the team for good. We're coming up on three days now, it's gotten ridiculous, something needs to be done to get this thing moving again.

I dunno, shouldn't there be some consistency? Compare van_exel and BigCat's participation - van_exel has only posted 15 more times in this thread than BC, and of his 6 writeups, 2 are missing and the other 4 range from poor to average. He hasn't provided any analysis of his team as a whole or really commented on other ppls teams.

If BC got his team jacked from him, I think vanexel should get the same treatment.

van_exel has two advantages:

1. He is a long time poster here who checks in and participates in this forum besides in this thread so there is, in my mind, a bigger chance he hasn't just left the site for good.

2. Related to that, he didn't just pick three horrible picks in a row which all received a lot of criticism, which is what I thought happened to BigCat (decided nobody likes his team, time to bounce).

I'm fine with either taking his team or skipping, he's been either up or on deck for five days, he should have known by now that his pick was coming and either be ready to pick or give a list to someone for when his pick comes up. Let's just do something to get this draft moving again.

Well if there's someone who wants to take over, they can go ahead - but we're talking about drafting the last 4 guys here. Even if no one were to get drafted it wouldn't even be a terrible thing.
