I will add that while I don't mind the pick, I don't think it was worth trading up for. But that may be unfair for me to say as maybe hes the only guy you thought could fill the role on your team and you didn't want to miss out.

Like I said I thought there was a good chance either GKA or tbach would have taken him before me, and there was 1 other guy who filled the role like Perkins but he was undersized and I needed Perkins to matchup vs bigger centers.

man, this totally ruins my idea of filling out the rest of my team with overrated Celtics backups/fringe starters in order to make my team greatest ever ldo with all the Celtics homers in this draft.

You guys made Al Jeff out to be an MVP candidate and a lock to be a top 10 player in the league for years to come? He is yet to do either of these, and its incredibly unlikely he does at any point over the next few years. I think its fair to say he was overrated. The Deng vs Jefferson thing would have been close if the Bulls didn't completely fall apart this year, which virtually no one predicted. Especially considering Deng was the better player in 06-07.

I do have friends (infact i'm going out in 20 minutes). They just all happen to have jobs and work during the day so there is usually not much to do (hence why I almost never post here at night because I hang out with them at night, especially on the weekends).

Well I forgot that Big Al played limited minutes at the start of the year and only ended up with 33 mpg and played much better in the 2nd half when Doc finally realized to play him (he scored over 20 ppg in the 2nd half of that year).

So you might be right that Deng was better overall in 06-07 cause he got minutes from the start (ended up with 37 to Al's 33) but Al def outperformed him 2nd half of the year when he blew up, and was def the better player going into that season and the future.

No my friends are pretty smart in general and I only tell people how smart I am when I get called out (notice how you haven't heard me brag all thread long really).

Disagree on both accounts, I only know of 2 players who are possibly more successful than I am in this thread (Bobbo and Tbach) and I don't even know if they are. I also disagree that many more are more succesful than I am, and if they are it's probably because a) they are older hence had more time to make money or b) they were born into a rich family and didn't have to earn it themselves

Regardless I don't want to sidetrack this, I just was sick of getting called out a ton.
