What people must recognize also is that most players from 25-34 are at their peaks, maybe shorter. If they are in their peaks there stats are going to be inflated for their career, if they are retired or played after their peaks they are going to be worse off. Just look at MJ's stats when he came back the 2nd time with the Wizards at 38/39:
He still averaged about 21.5/6r/4.5a 1.5s but at a PER of 20/19 (career PER of about 28.5+ before) and a TS% of 47/49 for a career 57% guy and a peak 60%+.

Bogut's not bad consider the young guys taken before him. For a center though he doesn't play much D, but a 14/10 guy I think is pretty valuable, he's still also very young and passes well. THis year at 23 his block numbers jumped. TS is also solid but dropped pretty far this season. His team is terrible though and like Shaq and DH, he can't shoot FTs.

Nich-Can you send a message maybe for some guys you would consider drafting with your next pick just in case it magically gets back to you. I highly doubt it b/c it would mean 27 picks would have to go through but it can't hurt.

meh, if we go through 27 picks, let's consider it a victory. no need to push that much further.

I'm a fan of Bogut's. Like him over some of the Cs picked recently.

Bogut:Vic's team like Shaq:2008 Suns.

Is his D bad b/c of his team or just bad? Honestly I don't think I've seen a Bucks game in years and I watch a lot of NBA games. His stats are definitely good though for a 23 year old. I think eventually he could become a 20/10/4 guy which is pretty damn good for a 5th round pick. I also wasn't sure sure about his game to put Bogut-D12 front line.

don't see him every being a 20/10/4.. but maybe like a 16/10.

his D is def not good from the games I've watched. But whatever. It could be worse. He's real good value at this point and I like the fit.

I had such high hopes for Victor's team when it was it was Prince/Price/Amare. Its basically a slightly tweaked version of the 2005 Suns. I wish he would have lined Amare up at center, and just took two shooters after that. The two guys that went after Harper, Richardson and Barry, would have been great.

This team has now conformed to the typical mold of a team. I wish Vic would have just recreated the 2005 Suns, but with a deeper bench and argued that if Joe Johnson doesnt get hurt, they win the title.

Nah, you can make a list of 10-15 you really want, and if they are all taken, will wait. Just postering, honestly will probally not get that far but if we do it can't hurt.

I wanted Rondo eventually, think it's a little early. His numbers really aren't anything special other than his D but he's young with tremendous upside, another PG off my list, I honestly think there are guys available who are significantly better than him, but that's just my opinion.

people might think you reached, but they're idiots. This kid is the real deal. Nice work. Everyone can use a Kobe-stopper.

If Rondo turns out to be the player everyone thinks he'll become, then its a perfect fit for your team. The fact that there are a lot of Celts fans here will help you make that argument.

Clark got blasted for Mookie, they are similar players. He's really good don't get me wrong, but I believe there are some better guys available at PG. He's got extremely good upside but I think it was a reach. I know I'm not going to win vs all the Boston fans but if he is so great, he would have already been taken considering the number of young guys taken.
