I know thats your point, but it doesn't make it correct. Just like the argument that McHale wasn't a great rebounder because the Celtics had other great rebounders isn't a good point. His rebounding %'s prove this.

Uh the rebounding this IS a good point wtf? Anyone who knows anything about basketball knows that the more great/good rebounders on a team, the less rebounds each will get...

Not when you play with 2 great rebounders...You realize Parish/McHale/Bird is arguably the greatest rebounding frontline of all time right? Also Dennis Johnson was a very good rebounder for a PG too.

And fwiw I never said McHale was an elite rebounder or anything, just that he was a very good rebounder which is what pretty much every scouting report i've ever read about McHale says...

I don't think he was (especially defensive rebounding in which case I think McHale might have been better although Barkley was the better offensive rebounder)...put Barkley on the Celtics teams and I don't think he gets over 10 rpg and if he does it's not much more.

15 of Barkley's 16 DRB%'s seasons were higher than McHale's best DRB% season. The one season which Mchale had higher was by .05%, none of the rest are even close.

Parish averaged .1 more rebounders per 36 min while playing with a lot better rebounders, and also played so long that his last few years hurt him as it would have been more.
