3 hour finale in two parts. Part 1 (1 hour) two weeks ago, Part 2 (2 hours) on tonight. Its like one big continuous episode so they called it a two part finale.

watching that Brent Barry vid...seriusly htf did he go from that to the most boring player ever so quickly?

edit: And yea technically you broke the rules by mentioning a player, but I'll make an exception here since the vid is awesome.

Ugh...all this makes me really wish I just let guys take each player at the age of their choice. But heres my totally random ruling(if anyone debates it speak up soon):

At probasketballreference, take the season which they have age 24 next to. You get the player at the beginning of that season on opening day.

When he does penetrate and distribute, half the time it's just so he can reset and get the ball back.
Maybe the reason why I feel so strongly about this is because this type of thing affects me a lot as a player. When I play pickup ball, I often run point and am a main scorer. However, in college I was pretty much just a spot up 3 point shooter. And as stupid as it may sound I swear this is true......

If I don't touch the ball for 4 or 5 straight possessions and then I get an open 3 pointer, I'm much less likely to make that than if I had just touched the ball, maybe dribbled once, and then passed it on the previous possessions. Just being involved with the offense kept me more....I don't even know the word to describe it, but it was just good for me.

Now obviously I'm sure NBA players are probably better at dealing with this than me, but I still think it can affect someone.

Just to nitpick, he went in the late 1st.

I wanna start a "favorite youtube highlight of one player" competition, but my favorite still hasn't been picked and I want the Brent Barry mentioning to be the one exception and not the rule here, so I guess we'll have to wait.

Although I think its gonna be very tough to beat this(don't worry, hes been picked):

For Mods:

Round Pick 137- Steve Smith

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=fmN4O...eature=related

To spread the floor I went with a good shooter. Now I’ll admit he’s not amazing, he’s no Ray Allen or Reggie Miller but he’s pretty efficient for a mid-round pick with a career 55.6% TS% and a high of 58.8%. He also had a career PER of 16.1 and highs around 18 in the mid of his career. At his peak he also averaged about 4 rebs and 4 assists again not bad for a 4th round pick and pretty much a shooter.

Defensively he’s average to below average, but since the rest of my team is either elite or at least above average it shouldn’t be a problem covering him up.

He did miss games though in his career although he also played a lot of full seasons throughout his career. At 23 he missed 34 games, at 29 he missed 14 out of 50 and at 33 he missed 29 out of 82.

Looks like my team should be able to run and play D which is what I was going for.

Awards:

1 time all-star

Stats:

Top 10 in offensive win shares 2 times.
#1 in 3 Point % for 1 season-Shows he can shoot.
Top 10 in TS% twice.
32 in 3 point Field Goals made all time

Team:

PF/C-Dwight
SF-Iggy
SG-S. Smith
PG-T. Hardaway
