FWIW, when healthy Baron is easily the best of the bunch. So underrated IMO. His efficiency stats suffer because of how much of a bulk shooter he is. Also Andre Miller is dirty. Such an elite passer and very good penetrator. Never misses a game either. Cassell is awesome, but the first 4 years he'll be in this thing he was less than great.

+1

same as Kevin Martin isn't a superstar, but a pretty good value pick (especially for that team).

HTF does Josh Smith kill fast breaks? Hes great at finishing in the open court.

I like the Smith pick a lot for his team. I hate the inefficiency he brings, but overall he fits well and I obviously love the blocks.

if he could maintain a 25 per for his career he would be better than cassell. im pretty sure we have the technology for that today.

Thats the main argument against Cassell - and a huge one at that!

Yes I agree Baron is the most talented out of the bunch...and Andre is consistently good (not an elite passer imo...though the numbers may say otherwise)...I dont know how Calderon got picked sooo high (and Im a huge Calderon fan...from T.O.)

If Brandon had his age 25 season this year, where would you rank him in pgs? 5th? 6th? That's hardly spectacular.
Agree. Brandon isn't a bad pick, but I don't think hes tremendous value either. Plus I don't like short players because I'd like to have as few weaknesses on D as possible. He was only really efficient that one year too. And he is a shoot first PG.

1. Shoot first PGs
2. Not efficient
3. Short players

3 things I don't like. With that said, I'm fully aware that those 3 things make me biased agianst him and hes probably better than I'm giving him credit for.

Thanks, I agree its not a spectacular pick. There was some BPA guys I was looking at and wanted to pull the trigger on but I just didn't think it would mesh as well and I didn't want to leave a gaping hole in the middle.

I think all 4 of my picks will work really well together, but I think a lot of people will overlook my last two picks because they aren't very sexy. So we'll see.

i think the Andre Miller love is a little biased towards his last year with Philly. After his great start with the Cavs, he turned into a really average (although very durable) PG. All of the team situations were fairly similar as well, although this is the first time he's been the primary creator (although he isn't going to be in this league, is he?)

Yeah you're right, not elite. But he's a very solid overall PG. The fact that he's never been bad and only missed 5 games (2 of which were because he was traded mid-season) in his entire career is pretty sick.

And as for Calderon, I <3 the guy (who doesn't?) but yeah too early.

You realize its Andre Miller on his team, right?

yeah this is what this whole deal is all about. BPA only works for the first couple rounds. Smits does a nice job addressing some of the size concerns I had.

With PP and Pau on the team, I doubt it. He's capable though which is a huge + as you need a guy like that to play with both PP and Pau at times.

O-so many Millers (3 so far), thought it was Brad. I gues sit's pretty good now but defensively still really blah although I'm a bigger Andre Miller fan on this team than Brad Miller b/c of how soft Gasol is.
