I am surprised it took that long for Rip to be drafted. He is the new Reggie Miller.

Really like the pick with Paul, although I think a lot of guys would fit well here.

Also Rip is def not Reggie because he lacks the 3 ball, only recently has he become proficient at it. His TS% is actually not that high given that he has a reputation for being a sick shooter because he doesn't get to the line that often and doesn't shoot a lot of 3s.

edit: He's obv very good, just saying this is the one downside.

I knew Rip would go soon. Suprised he was still there. His TS% is 52% vs Reggie's career 60+, so they aren't the same player although both are pure shooters. Rip is an average/above average defender.

Jamison is good but he is horrible defensively and not every efficient. I like him and I would have loved him in the 4th round but I prefer a guy who can defend over one that can't and I'm a huge UNC fan and actually abhor Zona. AI2 is a good all around player and defensively I think he's really good, not Battier level or Artest but a step below but a much better scorer. Jamison has definitely had a better career, but that's what happens when you play what 11 years vs 4, but I think AI2 can definitely be a better overall player. The last year 2 years post AI he's been a much better player overall.

I PMed 6 guys to Bobbo yesterday, 4 are already taken and I'm suprised the 5th is still there.

About KM, I didn't take him over AI2 b/c I'm a Kings fan and he is more injury prone than Iggy (Iggy has missed 6 games in 4 seasons), he is small and he can't play D, maybe he can learn as Epi pointed out. I don't think he's second round value, b/c he has a big hole in his game and he's young and injury prone. I like the guy a lot and if he was amazingly sitting for me in the 4th round I'd scoop him up in a second.

which wing player would you have picked ahead of him?

his movement off the ball is fantastic. He's like a carbon copy of Reggie.

Which ones were taken over him? Sorry I haven't followed this draft much, I was just surprised he was still available this late.

I guess he's not the same scorer as Miller, but I think he's a great team mate. He wears out defenders and creates space for his team mates.

Ahh, this is so tough. I know I should go defense here, but this one guy is just so tempting...

5 more minutes to think.

and the run of SGs continues. good selection, he was on my list, he is an interesting guy bc he is primarily a midrange vs 3pt threat.

as others have said, no, he's not the new Reggie. Reggie was just better. But, they are both shooters, so I suppose there is some similarity!

biggest douche???

I think I got great value with this pick...and arguably have the toughest backcourt to defend....Paul and RIP are going to running around the whole court like maniacs...controlled maniacs - but maniacs nonetheless.

Bobbo he's more similar to Reggie than both just being shooters.

yeah I always forget how much I hate Rip until i watch him play. way worse than manu IMO (obv in talent, but also in douchiness)

he's a douche because he constantly fouls, offense and defense, but gets away with more grabs/pulls than anyone. similar to chris paul, actually.

also, he wears the mask bc of a broken nose how many years ago?? this makes him a douche, obv.

Alright, **** it, I'm taking Rashard Lewis. Lanky, athletic force that should be perfect for draining kick out threes in my offense. Write-up coming shortly.

Nice pick with Lewis. I literally was about to pick him and decided to go with Jamison. Still not sure if I did the right thing.
