Iggy is solid. Really good defender, good efficiency. Also, looks like your team needs can be easily addressed.

Like the Iggy and Hornaceck picks. I was looking at both.

Iggy also works very well in that lineup. Hardaway/Iggy/Howard is pretty sick on both ends of the floor.

Yeah I really like the Iggy pick. IMO both Iggy and D12 need to be on the floor with a good ball handler (or else they'll both turn it over a lot), and Tim Hardaway is exactly that.

Do you really think Tayshaun is significantly better than Battier? They take a similar number of shots but Tayshaun isn't as efficient. They're both have a reputation as defensive stoppers, but Tayshaun got that reputation playing with two of the best defensive players in the league (Sheed/Wallace). Battier blocks and rebounds better, too. Plus, Tayshaun started at 22, so you miss two of his years as opposed to one from Battier.

I think there are players out there similar to Battier which would make it look bad. Tayshaun isn't one of them.

Battier and Prince don't play the same style of offense. Tayshaun is a bit more of a playmaker, and can create a little bit by posting up. Battier is more of a volume long-range shooter, usually getting open off screens or slow rotations.

Defensively I think they both are excellent, so a lot of "who's better" depends on what type of a team you have. For instance I would prefer a guy like Battier on my team (KG, Laimbeer, Hornacek) because I'd want more spacing, and obv. more guys that can hit the 3. And while their three point shooting %s are fairly similar, Battier's is a little more prolific and makes more long range shots.

I think just from watching them the difference is clear. Tayshaun has greater quickness, combined with his unusual frame and strength that allows him to guard 2-4 better than Battier. Tayshaun also has a significantly better PER (15.1 vs 13.8).

The two are very similar offensively, but I would argue Battier SHOULD be much better as Yao and Mcgrady take a hell of a lot of the defensive focuse away from him. On the Detroit team, theres no real superstars that a D has to lock down on like in Houston, yet still Tayshaun puts up good efficient offense.

I don't think 15.1 and 13.8 are that different. 15 is average. 13.8 is less than 10% below average.

Me and Flyingmoose have worked out a trade (as long as Nath doesn't take my guy, if he does the trade is void).

The trade is his 3rd round pick (next after nath)+ his 7th for my 4th round pick and KLJ's 4th round pick.

Also, on the JJ pick (which I think was great). Which comparable players do people think he should of been picked before?

I think Jones to Robertson is tight with the other two a slight bit behind the pack (and I may be underating Robertson I think)
