Anyone noticed that Fadi/BJL pick back to back and have pretty much all had pretty bad picks for all 3 rounds (in Fadi's case only 2 rounds, but he is on the clock so expect a huge reach next!).

There's just no way a guy is worth this high of a pick after 1 season unless its an all time great rookie season. I mean a certain PF from my favorite college bball team had a better rookie season than Al imo, and went on to an ok but nowhere near 3rd round value NBA career.

I def think Horord coudve been available a couple of rounds down the road.

Also - Bobbo - Im interested in trading picks (depending on the offer of course)

I dunno, i think kidd/mitch was a pretty solid 1st and 2nd round selection. clyde and peja is not nearly as solid, but maybe he'll redeem himself here

I'm not sure he'll be around when you make your pick, perhaps my offer will go through to Fadi.

lol bobbo..you don't really need defined scoring options when you have jason kidd. just athletic dudes and shooters. that said, lol @ horford. also might wanna edit out other players mentioned in your writeup.

It took me a second to realize you were talking about McHale and not my man Jesus Shuttlesworth.

Kidd was def a reach, I mean if you wanted a PG you shoulda taken Payton over him.

Also Pippen/God McHale shoulda went over Kidd too. You could have made other arguments for a handful of other guys.

Mitch in the 2nd was also a reach like you said, he was the 3rd best player on his team (and the first to be picked). I think a good 10-15 players should have been picked ahead of mitch.

Another worthy discussion:

Better player, Ray Allen or Jesus Shuttlesworth?

Its a flaw in the way the system was setup, and what Victor was getting at in the pointless argument with Assini. A player who never (or hasn't yet) reached his ceiling due to age or injury is more valuable than a guy who put up consistent numbers throughout his career or put up 1-2 very good years and then regressed.

wow i'm shocked at how underrated kidd is on this board. yeah he can't shoot, but i've never seen someone set up so many easy buckets EVER. i prefer GP, but it's not like an egregious mistake to pick kidd over GP.
