he means the other 13 guys he mentioned that you quoted. And I for one will not pass up an opportunity to draft the greatest shooter of all time

Anyway lets hold discussion off on Joe J vs his team/JJ Redick's relative value (I mention him bc come on, it's JJ ****ing Redick)/my lunch of ****** sandwhiches.

For now, I'll say Epi and KC may be right, but JJ's overall value is overinflated-Manu is pretty ****ing good-and the pick is solid, especially given his team makeup.

Haha sorry I didn't notice. Anyway I assume we can talk about Reddick since no one will draft him, Bobbo I really hope u were joking when u made that statement but for some reason I don't think u were.

EDIT: Reddick is white too kidcolin so he might actually have a place on ur team afterall

Is it possible I pick tonight? If so I'll be playing a home game probally from 6-11 CST, anyone want my picks or is it that doubtful I'll go.

its doubtful. although its somewhat likely that the next two picks will be up fairly soon, because iirc Victor usually posts around now (dont know about weekends).

You can always PM them to me, since I've already gone to a BBQ and played pickup, so thats my "day". So I'm around allll day.

you can pm them to me also if you want. i pick in 2 picks, but i have a SG/SF/PF already and you already have PG/C so the pick won't benefit me.

Ginobili and Parker on a < 40 win team are 4th round picks IMO

Parker, arguably (though I am more like to buy 3rd than 4th). Ginobli, no way.

+1

i have parker as my 18th best pg, and marbury as my 24th. a little less than a round's worth of difference.

This is def stretching it, although I do agree they are both a good amount worse on bad teams.

Also while I def feel that people outside this forum don't rely enough on advantaged stats such as drtg/ts% etc, I think people in this forum rely way too much on them.

For example someone like Manu looks a lot better on defense using drtg because he is almost always not guarding the best sg/sf on the other team.

Also ts% and all those other percentages has a lot to do with how good ur team is and what role u play in the offense (shot creators are going to have lower percentages in general than people who spot up shoot or just get fed wide open dunks etc.)

Also stats like rebounds are highly influenced on ur teammates ability to rebound as well.

isn't doing **** early awesome? For some reason I woke up at 7:30 today. Already got some chores done, went on my bike ride, watched some DVR'd shows to catch up on now watching the Sox play in Oakland. I love long lazy weekends.

It'd have to be woeful roster if Parker + Ginobili + the rest can't get you 40 wins. This is the point you're missing with your Marbury crusades.

prove it. TS% is a pretty consistent stat. Guys like Tyson Chandler are more of an exception than the rule (and even then he still had a very good TS% his last two years in CHI, but Paul lobs have ballooned it considerably to wtf status)

Basketball is a sport which depends on ur teammates abilities just as much as ur own.

yeah, getting up early can be awesome. but for me, everyday is a lazy long weekend, so some of the novelty has worn off.

McHale didn't have good teammates. Larry Bird and Parish had good teammates.

He was also great vs double teams.
