Not much bad can be said about Anthony Mason. Excellent defender, awesome low post skills, a great ball-handler and passer for his size. I think we can call his missed season a fluke, so the amount of years he played effectively is quite high. The fact that he had no jump-shot isn't that much of an issue with your team so far, with one of the great passing post guys and two great shooters. Just don't let him hang out with R. Kelly.

Overall, I think it's an excellent pick. A couple of things worry me about your team, but there are plenty of picks left to address those.

Also, I remember there was a feud between him and Patrick, does anyone remember why? I don't see how it could be any facet of his game, since he was such a selfless hardworking player, imo.

i loved the designs in anthony mason's hair. i think that should go back in style. that and afros.

OMG a pick has been made, finally. Anthony Mason is a solid player, but he didn't really start his peak until age 28. Not a big deal really, he's probably a good fit with Nash and Manu. They could be a team that does much better in the 2nd or 3rd tournament.

Just cuz Nicholas can't pick doesn't mean we can't get the 3 other picks in this weekend before his.

Mason was a legit stud for about 4-5 years. Was hidden by his bat**** craziness.

Actually I think you can argue that he just wasn't being used effectively, his overall production numbers, and obviously his defense, were pretty much there for the early part of his career. What I like about him was that he came off the bench for a few years, got the 6th man award, and in another year led the league in minutes played.

Clark, others: I know he had the R Kelly accusations, and I know Ewing and him had problems, but I never really knew why. Care to fill me in?

Anyway those NY/CHI battles, particularly in 92, were just amazing.
