Somebody picking parker at this stage tells me they didn't follow the NBA before 2003.

someone pm dtemp (hes up after capeano)

personally I think you should wait until dtemp logs on, no point in making capeano's pick if dtemp isn't even here

edit: omg flyingmoose is browsing too, he is up after dtemp, we can knock out a bunch of picks today (thank god)

With young T-Mac, I want the ball in his hands as much as possible and Parker is the type of guy that really needs the ball to get things going IMO.
Yeah, I deleted my post because the more I looked at it, the more justifiable it looked. Still don't love the pick, but it's def not as bad as I first thought it was.

As I said given his age Parker is a really good pick in this thing. Maybe not the pairing but he's getting better and better and only just now playing the years that qualify for this.

you guys are getting a little too hardcore about getting picks out. I'll be damned if I'm checking when people are logged on and whatnot.

there were much bette choices ou there to pair with Tmac. As great as parker is, he has no jumphot and he is not a great passing point guard.

parker is a fantastic player. u realize he is consistently like top 3 in points in the paint? he was proly the best point guard available.

There, he did it himself.

Kind of sad, I was looking forward to writing Tim "I Hate Gays" Hardaway.

Don't have time to catch up on everything right now, but....

Really really tilted. Nicholas PMed me back at 6:30AM my time saying: "i'll do this trade if u pm me to confirm in the next 20ish minutes before I post my pick". Obviously I just woke up so I missed out on him. And then my guy was taken within the next few picks.

Sidney Moncrief was the guy I had really really wanted(Seadood I tried to be as honest as possible without giving it away when you PMed me about him). I won't go into details now, but I think hes by far the steal of the draft.

It just sucks for me that Nicholas actually would've done the trade but we just weren't on at the same time(despite me being on 10+ hours per day!!!!) and then my guy goes a few picks later.

I still may be interested in trading up, but I'm not as willing to pay a huge price now.

I am glad to see a lot of picks made and a few pages worth of discussion. I'll be sure to catch up on all of that when I have a chance later today.

NOOOOOO I wanted him...Hardaway is insane value right now, he seriously puts all the pretender point guards in this round to shame. Best crossover in NBA ever, two seasons of 20/10, had a pretty long career despite a few injuries, there's no excuse for him dropping this far. He's the best point guard taken this round.

I thought he was BPA and I really wanted a PG although I proabally like KJ better of the guys who were picked lately. Pretty damn good passer, the only problem I have is he liked to chuck the 3s too much. Defensively for GSW he was weak but in Miami he was a damn good defender imo.

Seriously how do you take Tony Parker over Tim Hardaway
Modern Era NBA Build a Franchise Draft Discussion - Let's Get'er Done Quote

Timmy's a very good pick. Better PG than Parker imo. Just rules out John Amaechi as your late-round sleeper
