Peja seems like a huge reach to me, I mean he can only really do one thing. Like the pairing but both picks have been bad value wise and I think Peja would of been available in later rounds.

Richmond was so disgustingly good in NBA Jam

True it didn't work that well, but he is 33 now, kinda past his prime.

What we really need to do is start an NBA JAM draft, I am totally down for this.

Draft is moving along pretty rapidly now today. Let's keep it going, keep reaching for players like Peja, gogogo.

btw you guys all overrate paul pierce.
lol. He went right about where he should, could see him going 10 picks earlier, actually. Much, much better than Richmond.

I sorta like how Peja and Drexler work together, but sorta don't at the same time.

hate the peja pick. plenty of good shooters out there that do a lot more than peja.

People act as if we put Pierce in the category with Kobe and LBJ (YOU CAN AFTER LAST NITE LOL!!!!), no Celtic fan really does that. But you can't deny his greatness. He's the third best wingman in the NBA right now behind Kobe and LBJ IMO, although a little ways behind those guys.

I thought about him this morning (not for me, I already gots a 3). IMO it's not an awful pick, but this is the sort of example where you definitely could've traded down and gotten some value.

Tony Parker...interesting. Obviously the guys a winner and tough as hell. I don't know that I like him combined with TMac at first thought. However, I could not have told you that he's only 25. Somehow I never realized he came into the league at 19. He's going to be great in this format for alot of years.

Parker was the other guy I was looking at to pair with Malone. Very good pick but how much I like it depends on which interior scorers you end up pairing him with.

My pick is going to make some of these picks look really bad in hindsight.

Parker and Malone would have been fantastic IMO.

Agreed Parker was a reach but doesn't come close to Ben Wallace and Bynum.

One of TMac's biggest assets is his vision and play-making ability. I don't think Parker really takes advantage of that, as he's a pretty iso-oriented guy. On the other hand, he's so fast that if it gets kicked to him off of a double team, he can often beat the rotation and get to the rack. He'll also open up some looks for TMac.

I would sorta be scared about having no front court to speak of at this point.

I swear I thought there was a good chance Richmond would drop down to me...and I wouldve snagged him right away. Damn. My short list fro my second pick is getting even shorter...(down to two people).

I feel Peja was a lil bit of a reach btw....

and I guess I should read the previous pages but...does Sidney Moncrief even qualify for this draft???

And wow with the Buck Williams and Zo pairing. I dont know what to make of it yet (its still early in the team building process obv - but...wow - 2 defensive minded centres with your first two picks???)

Parker isn't at all a reach. This morning I compiled a short list of players I thought should go soon and he was up there. Amazing finisher and a guy that comes up big when it matters. On the other hand, I do not like the pairing at all. With young T-Mac, I want the ball in his hands as much as possible and Parker is the type of guy that really needs the ball to get things going IMO.

Clark is there for Noah, but he traded with Dudd.

I have capone0's pick. I'm not sure if he's still around, but I'll wait 5-10 minutes to see and then post it if he's not.
