Miller is a stud. He may have gone early, I dunno. But he did things on the court at times that are tough to evaluate on b-ref--if you are comparing Rock to Reg then I just don't know what to say.

As for Pierce, their offensive efficiency is basically the same but if you want me to be a nit, Pierce's is slightly better--but not enough to really matter. His defense is significantly better. He was also a better rebounder and passer.
Miller is a great player, very clutch but he wasn't very good value at his pick imo. He doesn't play D, he doesn't anything but score and shoot 3 pointers. His dimes/rebound numbers aren't good at all.

I'm not arguing that any of these picks are particularly bad but Richmond is comparable and he was picked 25-35+ after some of them, so it's really not bad value at this time.

I'm randomly checking bball ref for no reason and certain players look pretty awesome on the #'s I wonder how far they fall... anyone care to answer in PM? Heh.

yup I thought it was good value, esp when u consider how good of a scorer Richmond was.

That's probably why he went 22 picks earlier. At this point, Richmond is a pretty good value.

I heard EPiPeN11 was offering an amazing deal, 2 4th round picks for your 2nd, you should take it imo as it might not last (someone before u will probably jump on the deal and u will miss out).

Love Moncrief. Great pick.

Good run of guys who should've gone earlier. I think Price went a little early but not much. Tons of good PGs in this league, while I had thought size wouldn't be a premium, I'm starting to think it still is. Lots of wing scorers and PGs left.

Man I love the Moncrief and Ritchmond picks, was hoping they'd fall to the third (obviously was never going to happen).

Like the Price pairing with Amare. I think the tier point guards available now all offer completely different game and its all about getting the right one for your style, Price being the best available to fit with Amare, good pick.

Dont know ANYTHING about Buck but if hes defensively as good as everyone says, thats some nice post defense you got going there with Zo. Like Timmy and D-Rob lite.

Don't you mean like Ewing and Nance lite?

Touche.

Ok Ewing and Nance is a slight bit better, but still, both are pretty good frontcourts.

If you got Drob / Duncan in their primes, I think I'd go with the double Ds.

Yeah, its obvious Big Ben's not going to score much. But if he only shoots 6 times a game, and makes 3, that doesn't really have too much of a negative effect on the team.

When the opposing team can use five players to defend four, it has a huge effect

Wow, Peja seems like a stretch this early to me, did not see that coming at all. My pick is coming in a few.

Peja wow. I didn't see him being picked this early but I can see it working with Clyde. They won't get in each other's way and Peja can just camp outside drilling 3s. Not a bad pick when I think about the pairing.

Also, I forgot to put current team at the bottom but either a mod can edit or I'll fix it after my next pick.

I was wondering where Peja would go, had a huge range in mind for him. Thought he would work best with a good big man who can pass, guess we'll have to see who else rounds this team, as always.
