The vast majority does not want what you want, EPiPeN11. Just look above your post: 3 posts in a row from 3 different posters who disagree with you. And I think its pretty obvious that all the guys who take a long time to pick disagree with you. I think theres actually a very small number of people who agree with you. That group happens to be the group thats here all the time, so its not surprising that your opinion is heard more often.

The bottom line is this:

I had an idea for a draft. I posted the complete rules. I modified the rules when people gave me suggestions and the majority agreed. You agreed to those rules and signed up. Those rules are the ones we're going by.

Ok Voting time. Please vote if you are in favor of implementing a time limit or staying with no time limit.

The vote over reverse snake had far more to do with the fairness of the draft than anything else. This is much different than trying to institute a time limit.

Assani, honestly, you have 1/40th of a vote. Of the two of us, one of us has the power to enforce whatever the hell they want in this thing, and that person is not you. I obviously wouldn't do that since that would be stupid, but if a solid majority wants to do away with the no time limit rule then we should. Like I said before, even though you want to act like it does, your voice matters no more than anyone else's in this.

You guys aren't getting it: To change the rules regarding time limit now would be totally unfair to those who signed up knowing that they wouldn't be able to make a strict time limit(but they saw there was no time limit and then decided to sign up).

Changing the time limit would be convenient for you.

Personally, I really have no preference. I would prefer maybe 5 picks per day or so. But I'm a laid back person, and I don't care either way.

You guys are the ones being selfish and wanting something for your own convenience even if it forces certain people to quit altogether.

I dunno. Even the ones that don't look that impressive, I'm not seeing those made with any regularity around the league. The way he puts the ball in the perfect spot for the guy rolling to finish in perfect rhythm is unparalleled in the NBA right now, imo.

Jesus Christ, just stick with no time limit. It's not that big of a deal. Even if we do a 12 hour time limit it's only gonna be a few people every round who violate it, and when they get screwed it's gonna be a LOT less fun to put up with the bitching and moaning.

I posted a draft. It had rules. You signed up under those rules. If you didn't want to be in it under those rules, then you shouldn't have signed up.

Go re-read some of the posts in here. There are several people that have posted that they:

1. This a time limit would have been best
2. Think its way unfair to change the rules when people signed up under those rules



Yes my opinion is only 1/40th. However, this is an issue where unless everyone agrees then we can't change things. You're being selfish here, not me.

Assani, iirc the time thing was never really up for debate because you wouldn't let it be.

while i think a 12, 18 or 24 hour time limit should have been instituted before the draft starts, i vote against adding one in the middle of the draft because i think it's unfair and unethical.

I do understand what you're saying. Maybe he makes it look so easy that I'm underrating the difficulty of it.
