Its not that you're always wrong, its that you are horrible at arguing and convincing people to see your side imo. Your writeup of Worthy convinced NOBODY to change their opinions. And here someone critiques Bosh's defense and you point out his blocks which does not necessarily mean good defense at all....but not only that, you don't actually point out his blocks per game but you just vaguely mention that he leads a team that just joined the league in recent history in career blocks.

If you believe Bosh is a good defender, then thats fine- differing views are what make this draft great. But put forth a solid argument and try to actually convince us.

Was thinking last night about where Rodman would go. I'm gonna give it a thumbs-up for now.

When I was picking C-Webb I was definitely considering avoiding taking a PF so I could take Rodman later, man he was just a rebounding/defensive machine. I couldnt convince myself with his lack of offense.

Im thinking he went about the right spot here.

Man I love Rodman. Very underrated player. Not sure I heart the pairing, but it takes 5 baby so I'll reserve judgment.

I would be willing to bet that Bosh never finishes top 3 in MVP voting in his entire career.

Good pick but terrible pairing. The past picks have been guys who compliment the other guy, I am not seeing it with Reggie. Rodman doesn't command double teams (nor does he even command a defender, only a boxer-outter) so it doesn't free Reggie up for shots, and Reggie isn't the high volume shooter enough that you can get low usage guys as spare parts. Further, if you run a jumpshooting offense (which with Reggie as your #1 looks like you're locked into it) there are few around the rim boards for Rodman to clean up (whereas if you ran a PNR alot or if you had a penetrator, weakside and help defense constantly needs to rotate, which would free Rodman to do heavy damage in the interior).

So, on the surface, I'll say this is an example of a very good pick but a very bad pairing...

MEEEEEBenhoe wanted Rodman. I tried to talk him into a Rodman/Bosh or Rodman/Gasol pairing at the turn.

Bosh has a career eFG% of 49.0 and TS% of 56.6.

Hes never been in the top 10 in FG%, FT%, eFG%, TS%, offensive rebound %, defensive rebound %, total rebound %, steal %, block %, or assist % in any season.

reading this, I now agree that this isn't a good pairing (although I still think in terms of a vaccum Rodman was a good pick although there are a few better players out there).

I wouldnt bet against this, but do you think he wont finish in the top 3 because he wont deserve it or because the media is stupid? because... i wouldnt be surprised if in the next 5 years he has ONE season that is a top 3 season - but this doesn't mean he'll get media attention.

By efficiency, I meant: 23.88, 22.72, 23.23. His last 3 years. He is legit.

you're right, and so is kc, when he says he'll reserve the right to pass judgment after seeing a team or 5 starters or a 3 core or whatever. it's just that, imo, this team doesnt look like it's built to be that efficient offensively or defensively, which could be a problem in this league
